At this point, I'm just cheering them on one game at a time. Win 1 or 2 regular season games, then have some confidence going into the tourney. Gotta put 2 halves together first.

You still have to be team player, and play within the system that your coach has implemented.

You still have to be team player, and play within the system that your coach has implemented. I think DeAndre will have a better game today. He came out to strong in the last game but he did make some good post passes and made some baskets in the second half despite having so many fouls. I think He'll play well against ISUb.

Hope he plays as a team member and not a individual.I know a win is a win,but we are so much better if we play as a team

Nice interview. I like the respect that Dre showed toward TL. It shows what a good coach we have now and given the time to put all the pieces together and how working as a team will pay off.

Just re-watched some of the game last night, and it's apparent that DeAndre isn't any where near the player he was in the beginning of the season. There was no fluidity to his shots, and on some of them he looked like a rag doll. His defense was just enough to get by. I think it would be better for him to hang it up for this year, and try to get back to 100%. I doubt he will help us much for the rest of the year.

Not to change the subject too much but, just saw Sam’s face time in Instagram and he said he was looking forward to having a full year under coach Lick for next year

Yeah it is clear he hasn't progressed and I'd wager he's worried about hurting it again. The thing is, all players at this level improve as the season goes along. The ones who get to watch game films don't really get that chance. I'd agree ... he's not going to matter the last couple of games.

DeAndre has been talking the same way in some of his interviews he’s given recently. Coach Lick has already improved some of the players such as Evan and Jawaun. With the players coming back and the new additions we already know about this team will be much stronger next year. The coaching staff will also have time to design and implement offenses and defenses that compliment the team individual skills and they will have the time needed to learn and practice what has been developed. It is not doom and gloom as some have predicted.

It is not doom and gloom as some have predicted. On the lighter side of this, it's hard to go 0-18 so we should see some improvement. To that end, if you are good enough to win **some** conference games, you are good enough to win a few more. Going from zero to five to eight or 10 wins is do-able even with the same team back healthy and inside a coaching system. If you can win 10 conference games, you can win 13.

It is not doom and gloom as some have predicted. I wholeheartedly agree with you. BUT we all said the same things at the end of last season. We had the "big three" becoming eligible and about everyone coming back. Two thirds of the "big three" have been disappointments and the other third was hurt all season. We had losses and changes in the coaching. I know I sound like Debbie Downer here but after this seasons experience I maintain cautious optimism. It won't change my decision on renewing my season tickets.
