Just saw a post online that chuck should start over Bobe, the guy tagged Chuck. Chucked liked it. This is how a fan can start to split the team. We don't need this at this point in the season. If some online expert has the ability to wreck a basketball team, we probably have the wrong basketball team.

Definitely not needed. Looks like Chuck’s HS coach liked it too. He’s clearly unhappy with his role. Hopefully DJ can talk to him about waiting his time like he did. Would hate to lose him, he’s going to play a huge role next year if we can keep him. Not needed and I don’t hate Bobe, but come on, Chuck is likely roasting Bobe everyday in practice. Everyone knows who the better player is. And no, I didn’t send that tweet. Bobe feels like Blake to me: getting a bunch of heat bc he flat out plays too many minutes. If his minutes were cut back, everyone would be his biggest fan.

I'm sure guys are going at it everyday at practice. I know of fights that have broken out between players. But, when it filters out to the public. That's when it starts to fracture the culture.

We as fans don't see what happens in practice every day. Maybe Chuck doesn't jell very well with the other 4 starters and Bobe doesn't jell with the other non starters.Sinve Ben has seemed to overcome his injury Rags has went with a 4 out 4 in system and it worked pretty well against Drake.

It's probably more about team chemistry and not having all of our scorers on the floor at one time. Chuck does not give the ball up much and players like Ben need the ball in their hands when they are on the floor. So, Chuck and a mix of our other offensive players should definitely be on the floor when Ben is sitting. Chuck has very few assists in the minutes that he has played. I like Chuck and all and his ceiling is certainly high and higher than Gage; but to me team chemistry comes in here as opposed to straight up who is the better player with the higher ceiling. Also, Chuck gives us energy off the bench. The players that play best in a given game should likely be the ones on the floor most of the minutes at the end of the game and Rags does pretty good with this generally (but the exceptions have certainly but duely noted).
As previously mentioned, when I talked to DJ in Chattanooga, he said that Chuck said that he was going to break DJ's scoring record. So that is a good sign that Chuck will stay. Obviously, things can change and time will tell.

Obviously, things can change and time will tell. I think we might be reading too much into whether this tweet liking means he’s happy or not here, but I also wouldn’t put any stock into anything he said to DJ either. He said on a podcast last summer he plans to be in the NBA after two years. I don’t think either statement really mean much besides the fact that Chuck is very confident in his abilities. Hopefully he stays all four years, but I’d be surprised if what he told DJ was anything more than a confident kid talking a little trash to his assistant coach.

I have been quiet about it for a long time. I agree with CB3 and anybody else. Okay, let the threats come again. But, I don't care how "good a kid he is." I sure couldn't imagine losing a stud recruit because Bobe starts.

Then another player on the team, openly agreed with random fan on social media. I don't think that inspires team connectedness. The last thing we need right now, when it seems that our team is coming together, playing well and have an opportunity to make a run is team friction.

It's probably just Chuck liking a comment that he was tagged in. No big deal It's not going to blow up the team chemistry. He if stays he will be a leader next season. If he leaves we will go after another guard. Life will go on either way.

No need to knock Bobe, but he's a former walk-on, in an extra "Covid" year. Bobe's not going to win us the pennant (MVC Championship), so play the future star. I think that's a lot of our thoughts.

Bobe starting over Bailey would not be the main reason he leaves considering bobe won’t even be on the team next year

You can't sit there and nit pick a coach for everything that he does either. Something is working. We are making progress more than probably anyone on this board thought we would in year 2. It's also not really year 2 in my mind but to each his own.

Bobe starting over Bailey would not be the main reason he leaves considering bobe won’t even be on the team next year And if it is the main reason he leaves, he’s probably not the right fit for the culture Raglands trying to build anyways. Hopefully he’s able to see the long term vision and realize he’s got the potential to be all time great here if he stays and puts in the work.

I couldn't find a tweet that Chuck liked that had anything to do with Gage.

If Bailey leaves UE, it will be because of NIL money or some clandestine tampering, but I seriously doubt Gage Bobe's playing time has anything to do with it.
