Read this quote from the Drake msg board, "Was chatting with friends tonight and was reminded - Thursday night in St. Louis used to be called "Drake Night" by several fanbases. Now six straight 20 win seasons. special special era" --- will we be saying this about the ACES in a few years? Let's hope!
Drakes gets the short end of media coverage in Des Moines with Iowa State being right there and Cailtin Clark coverage being all the talk. If we can put a team like Drake on the court for 5+ years, Evansville would be rocking.

I got +9.5 on FanDuel last night. If the team that beat Bradley shows up, it’s free money, but we’re going to have to be locked in for all 40 minutes or this one could slip away quick. Drake is a very talented team and Brodie is going to be a huge mismatch for us again.

Hoping the Aces at least cover and hopefully pull out the W.

Unreal how UE lost to Bradley by 36, then we won, lost to Murray by 22 at home, lost on a buzzer beater and covered the spread. Now we are playing a team that beat us by what 48 points, and we are only a 7.5 point underdog.

Yep, we have to shoot well and limit turnovers, but I think interior defense and rebounding is the key to the game. Having Ben will help but everybody has to step up. I can see Kalle getting some minutes tonight.

Anybody know what the largest margin of defeat by one team was where the other team came back and won the next game in the same season? Is it possible that we have a chance at history if the guys are locked in and focused from the get go?

Past 2 games Kalle hasn't been dressed. I don't know if he was hurt or injured but he was in street clothes

Anybody know what the largest margin of defeat by one team was where the other team came back and won the next game in the same season? Is it possible that we have a chance at history if the guys are locked in and focused from the get go? I know in the 2002-2003 season that a 9-18 UCLA team had suffered to losses to Arizona during the regular season (87-52 at home and 106-70 on the road) before beating a #1 NCAA seeded Arizona team in the Pac-10 tournament in OT 86-79 (after getting down by 15 points in the second half). This is similar to our victory over Bradley after getting beat by them by 36 points earlier in the year. Not sure if there is a larger "turnaround" between two teams in the same season or not.
