Thomas doesn't get nearly enough love from the UE fan base. I guarantee the opponents find him as much or more than they can handle. I’ve said for years I wanted to see us get a pass first point guard, so I love his game. As far as I am concerned, he has at least 7 other guys that should be able to pick up the scoring for him.

Good point on strawbridge, AD. Absolute crickets from the “Strawbridge shouldn’t be shooting 3s” crowd lately. Anyone that’s questioning why he starts or plays so many minutes is out of their mind.
I love what he brings to this team, and we should all be incredibly grateful that he chose to come to our program when we were at our absolute worst and helped build the foundation for the future with Ragland.

I don’t mind Kenny driving to the basket or taking the open jumper. It’s his tendency to take the fall away turn around jumper that gets to me. He has got better at limiting that shot recently. That type of shot is a low percentage shot for any player and should only be taken as a last resort

Straw isn't the guy who should be the go-to for 3-pointers. He's better inside 12 feet, but he's always been capable of going outside the ring. I think he's shown a lot more maturity this year and has easily adapted to the new players. Comparing his game year-to-year is useful if we compare the team year-to-year. What isn't like the other?

An opinion is an opinion - my opinion is, as it has been for a while now, that we lose points almost every game - especially with our starts to each halves and at times when we don't utilize the skills of some players because they are sitting on the bench during critical times. I believe Cuff and Bailey should be our most-utilized, with Bobe and Thomas secondary, not starting. I realize Bailey's flaws, wants to do too much alone, but he IS electric as you observe, and I think he will take this team to great heights in the future. I don' remember saying Strawbridge shouldn't play - think you have me confused with someone else. He did get a little wild with his shots earlier in the season; but he has controlled that and is now a great offensive threat and his defense (love those steals) gives me hope when we need to get that ball back! Your complaint that I "acted like we lost by 50" is ? No, I was as disappointed as anyone to have lost that game...and the game before, but I was encouraged that we had reached the point in the season and in this rebuild that we were proving that we can play with anyone...and that we WILL continue that competition throughout the year. To me, that was an important milestone and a great accomplishment for our team. It's interesting to me that just expressing a view that our coach costs us points in his players' selection -who and when - brings on such reactions. I love this team, have for years. I am not calling for a new coach! I simply hope to see the talent we do have utilized to our best potential...and I am happy to see all the positives that Ragland and staff and this team of Aces are accomplishing toward our future... JUST MY OPINION...probably not going to mean much to anyone reading this as someone on here said , just a post from someone who knows little about this game...now that I would take objection to!

I think you are trying to micromanage a game by asking a coach to use players in optimal situations and expecting optimal results. The whole of 40 minutes is a series of winning the possession, losing the possession or preparing for the next one. You don't win the game with the opening tip or on the final out-of-bounds play. Every team makes similar decisions with personnel.

The coaching staff needs to re enforce to Toumi that BEN is the Man and Not Him!!! Ben or Cuff should touch the ball every trip down the floor as possible and Definitely the last 2 minutes of the game! If I were the coaching staff, Toumi would be showing up early or staying after practice shooting a 100 free throws. Also, since the team had a hard time scoring until Cuff and Ben's 3's.....Chuck should have been in the game. GO ACES!!

This one hurts. I could handle Murry. But two in a row after playing a great game on both ends. I think most of you need to quit being arm chair quarterbacks or coaches. There are many things that go into a win or a lose.Kenny is diffidently playing better the last 4 to 5 games than he has played the last year and half.As I said the other day give him credit when it's due. Ben looked more like himself last night (sure hope he stays next year). Cuff is just a really nice ballplayer. Tourmi is a lot better than last year. New rule after he is fouled we can take the ball instead of him shooting free throws.Little humor, but would be a good rule. Josh is going to be really good (hope he stays after next year). I will not comment on Bobe or Thomas (good and bad things). Chuck I believe is in portal next year. Heard he wants to be closer to home and upset that Wilson left. Haffner verdict still out has to be more consistent. We have come a long way this year. If you would of told me every one was going to be upset at a buzzer beater against Drake at first of the year I would of told you to get hold of yourself. Go Coaching staff! Go Aces Players! Keep fighting you will get rewarded for your efforts. Go Aces!!!

If it’s true Bailey is hitting the portal, it might explain him not getting as many minutes.

My example of guys don’t know how to evaluate talent is Kenny Strawbridge. We all have our idea of what a player should be doing on the court. But 12 coaches, who are paid hundreds of thousands of dollars each, nominated him as 3rd team all conference; a kid on a 5 win team. Then, they turned around to put him on 2nd team preseason all conference. I doubt he comes in on an all conference team at the end of the year. But I’ll be surprised if he not on an all defensive team. All this in a top 10 conference. Who would have thought that? So, safe to stay the heat directed at him his cluelessness. Then add Bobe and Antonio to the mix. If a kid isn’t putting up 14 points a game, people don’t know how to judge thier talent and worth.

My two cents...Strawbridge has improved on both ends of the court over the last few weeks. He has not turned the ball over as much, not forced as many bad/one on one shots fading away from the basket and has improved his three point shooting as well. He has played his best basketball since he has been an Ace in the last month of his career. His defense has also improved and effort has stepped up.
Bailey I do not feel has played as many minutes over the entire year as many think he should because he has a habit of dribbling too much, playing too fast/out of control, too much one on one at times and not playing within the offense, moving, cutting and passing the ball. He also drives too the basket at times when there is simply nothing there and turns the ball over, often leaving his feet with no plan for the pass. At times he does finish and shows what he is capable of as he is one of if not our most athletic players. When our offense becomes stagnant and guys are not moving he needs to be in the game. At times on certain defenders he needs to be in the game because he is capable of playing some good defense with his size compared to some of our other smaller guards. To me these would be the only reasons he would not see as many minutes as he would like or many fans would like. Should he stick around he will see the floor a lot more minutes next year if he keeps improving. I hope all our guys who show promise and are part of the culture we are trying to create are stick around but with the transfer portal and NIL issues, who knows anymore what kids will do.
I think one thing we can all agree on is how much we have improved over last year and even over the last few weeks since Ben's return to the court. The team is so much more fun to watch than last year and we have a number of guys who really show a lot of promise.
It's becoming fun to be an Aces fan again.
Go Aces !

Im hearing that Toumi isn't coming back , he wants to go back to France to play basketball with his brother. I guess we will find out, like I said I heard he came to that decision 2 weeks ago. I guess originally he hadn’t plan on coming back. I guess we can speculate on all the players, but won’t know for sure until it’s time to lace them up next year.

Just saw a post online that chuck should start over Bobe, the guy tagged Chuck. Chucked liked it. This is how a fan can start to split the team. We don't need this at this point in the season.

Definitely not needed. Looks like Chuck’s HS coach liked it too. He’s clearly unhappy with his role. Hopefully DJ can talk to him about waiting his time like he did. Would hate to lose him, he’s going to play a huge role next year if we can keep him.
