Yep, I don't think anyone...fans or coaches think just showing up is acceptable and are content with another 24 years of no tournament. I didn't see the game last night as I was driving back from Indy. I did have it streaming until I got close enough to pick up a station. The one positive is I don't think we realize how good Jevin is at calling games. As the game evolved into beatdown, he managed to keep it entertaining throughout. When your team is getting blasted, finding things to discuss and staying in the game is difficult. I hated that Sara Dunn or someone back at the station screwed up and cut Ragland off in the middle of his interview and switched to music. They had done that a little earlier but quickly caught it. I still think we are moving in the right direction and am not giving up on Ragland or pushing a panic button. Year two of a complete, scorched-earth rebuild and there is progress. I will add this though. I keep hearing Ragland speak about patience as this process is built. I believe it....but...if he wants our patience, I would like to see less secrecy from the program to the fans. Ziggy and staff are light years away from the hidden bunker Spencer and Lickliter operated in, but we have a way to go in my opinion. To date, no one knows what happened to Ben, how serious the injury is and an actual expected date. No one has asked or is aware why Braylon isn't playing more. We are in the dark on our NIL. I would even say they played the Marcus thing a little too close to the vest. He is out there lobbing smoke bombs, playing "I've got a secret" on twitter. It would only be fair to at least issue a statement, thanking him for his contributions, etc. If they want our patience, I think we should be informed what is going on. I don't really buy it's keeping the opposing coaches guessing. Prohm and Wardle didn't appear to be caught off-guard by anything. I guess if we reveal too much, we could get blown out by someone.

UE keeps us in the DARK! Why is that? We pay for the tickets, we have the right to know what is going on. Do we really think our struggles should be hidden from opposing teams? Wake up, that is not relevant. Change it up coach, the seniors will be getting their real dose of "LIFE" next year when they look for work or playing overseas. The REAL WORLD you rarely get what you want and that's LIFE. It saddens me that the guys that show the most promise are subs after the Hole is dug. You know I mean Chuck and Tanner, start them then see how Strawbridge and Thomas play coming off the pine. I rarely post as I chuckle with the brains at this forum post daily. Finally, why does B. Jackson not play. Give him a CHANCE coach, the players he would put on the bench make mistakes too, just my opinion............GO ACES!!!!!!!!

"but I know many want Rags to fail" Agree with much of what you wrote, but saying people want Rags to fail, I disagree. 99% of people on here want to see Rags succeed. The other 1% are like the crazy Murray St lady and just kooky.

I’d love to hear what folks think on who the new starting five should be and what they would bring. Maybe that’s a thread somewhere?

When you realize that the best of the 8 different non conference teams we beat, close between Chattanooga and UT Martin, would be about 10th or 11th in the Valley. Not trying to be negative, but reality is setting in. Here's hoping that Valpo doesn't get hot like Murray has.

Correct. When he’s healthy. Rebounding, Rim Defending, Size, basketball IQ and scoring ability. Downfall - speed. Replacement Kenny.

I know Cuff and Bailey didn’t start, but from what I’ve seen they got plenty of minutes and we’re in the game in the second half when Bradley went on their run. I’m sure the coaches have reasons for them not starting, I wouldn’t be opposed to Cuff being the starting point guard, but still feel Bayley needs to work on his attitude and some other parts of his game before he’s a starter. Just my thoughts. One way to look at this is, if Ben comes back, the stretch without him is only gonna make us a better team towards the end of the season.

Bailey is not a team player, when he is the game everyone stands around and watches him play one on one.
