I don’t know what to think about the playing abilities Kodie may have against D-I women athletes in the US, but my experience with Aussie athletes is that they are generally tough, hard-nosed competitors. I hope she turns out to be one of those. She appears in the videos to be a player much like Abby Feit and maybe she can offer adequate relief for Abby when she needs a rest. Go Lady Aces!! Yes, she reminds me very much of Abby. I hope she turns out to be as good.

I was thinking the same thing when you started it. When you post to this forum these days, you are playing to a tough audience. I’ve been preparing for this audience my whole life. It’s Game On!

UE has offered 6'2" Junior Forward Journey Thompson from Canonsburg, PA. Thompson has received 29 offers so far, with offers this week from Buffalo, James Madison and Delaware. It's nice to see players of this caliber in the conversation.

It's naive to think that Ruffing didn't offer these girls a scholarship. The question is always: Why would they say yes, or no? Mid-majors women's basketball is not designed to produce national champions or professional players. It's gotta be the campus, the curriculum and the culture. Of all those reasons, why would you say no to a program that has 10 wins in 3 seasons?
UE is in an enviable position of being able to define the way mid-level women's basketball goes in the next few years. There are not many ways they can screw this up.

Appears we may have stolen a player off the roster for FIU. All is fair in love and basketball
from their Australian team website "Each player will look to use this NBL1 season as a primer for college programs in 2021 as well. Elly Morgan is set to begin her journey with Florida International University after being delayed in 2020 while Kodie Myszka will join the University of Evansville after just recently committing to their program."

It is, especially if RSW was the one who recruited her, and she built a relationship with. So, we have two from Australia, and one each from Spain and the Netherlands. So much for the 150 mile radius...lol.

I will say one thing, RS-W said she was going to expand the recruiting to include international players and she certainly has done that. She said she was going to play a different style of basketball that would be more exciting.
I think Robyn is sending a message that UE Women’s basketball will no longer be a Valley pushover. Now I’m looking forward to seeing who’s next.

This is pretty amazing overall under any conditions. I still think they can recruit the best players from Indiana and getting some Twitter buzz is where that starts.

The size of this group is also impressive. Looks like we should be able to crash the boards to get the running game going.

I've always thought that the only thing another school could provide a recruit is you get to play on a national championship team, but if you are not a super star, you aren't going to get a lot of playing time. So why not come to UE, and get a super education, and get most of the same advantages, except maybe a national championship. And maybe who knows...................
