There is a possibility that Evansville Memorial prospect, Sophie Johnson might try to walk on at UE. I have no idea what type of offers she is getting, but it may be from D2/3 schools. I watched a handful of Memorial games this year and believe she is the most athletic on the team. In the Sectional loss against Gibson Southern (who is playing for the State championship this Saturday) she dropped about 25 points -- often finishing at the rim.

Here is the list of Indiana All Stars. Good to see Camryn Runner will be at UE next year. "Camryn Runner, Hamilton Heights (Evansville): The all-time leading scorer in Hamilton County, Runner averaged 26.9 points (51% FG, 36% 3FG, 91% FT), 5.6 rebounds, 2.7 assists and 4 steals for the two-time defending regional champion Huskies. The 5-9 guard accumulated 1,962 points and 288 steals in her career." sports.yahoo.com/indiana-stars-ihsaa-girls-basketballs-135508264.html

Runner is clearly the plum of the Fall recruits. I’m not taking anything away from the other signees but I think Runner will have the greatest impact.
Add Runner to the existing players of K Striverson, Thomas and Hartwig and you gave a pretty good core of young players. I assume there are still scholarships to give in the Spring that maybe will bring in a strong overlooked center who can compete in the Valley.
Maybe Coach RSW can turn the corner next year.

Head Coach Robyn Scherr-Wells has signed freshman shooting guard Kaiden Kreinhagen to the 2024 University of Evansville women's basketball class.
"We are thrilled to officially welcome Kaiden to UE!" says Scherr-Wells on the signing. "Kaiden epitomizes the type of player we want to build our program with – she is tough and athletic, she loves to get in the gym and work at her craft, she can shoot the heck out of it. She will be a great representative of our program in the classroom and the Evansville community!"
