Thanks for posting UEfan2918.
From #350 to #92. Not a bad jump.

How it stands right now, we will play 4 quad 1 games. That is a resume builder.

Seven teams in the top 100 for the MVC. I think the league should be in discussion for multiple bids at this point.

We need to take care of business in our remaining non-con games -- Beat Bellarmine, UTMartin, TnTech and keep a close game with BYU and Cincy.
Other MVC games that would bolster the conference with a win: Drake vs Nevada Ind St vs Mich St. Belmont vs Lipscomb Ill St vs Kentucky Mo St vs St. Mary's; vs Tulsa Murray St vs Miss St; vs SMU SIU vs Wichita St; vs Okla St. Bradley vs Duquense Valpo vs Virginia Tech UNI vs Richmond

Seven teams in the top 100 for the MVC. I think the league should be in discussion for multiple bids at this point. Yes, especially since that MVC bid plays in so many Final Fours, Sweet-16s. Surely the power conferences can give up a spot or two. Imo, there should be no more than 12 — (or 15, max) — Big-10 teams getting knocked out the first wknd …

I saw this in a tweet by Kristensen and thought it was a typo. They’ve blown out almost everyone they’ve played. The NET puts too much emphasis on margin of victory & efficiency stats and not enough emphasis on SOS. That’s why we’re above MSU despite them beating us handily last week. It’s better to blow out weak opponents than win close games against great teams. The ranking will correct itself once they get into big 12 play and start to have tighter games. They’ll still probably finish the season top 30 though

BYU is now #1 in the NET rankings. We deserve some of the credit.
They are #6 in the KenPom rankings now as well. No matter your thoughts on these rankings/metrics, BYU seems to be the real deal. Certainly Big 12 conference play will help determine that as well.

Note: These might be KenPom rankings and will sort out when I can.

Some other NET rankings of interest: #28 Cincinnati #56 Indiana State #76 Drake #107 Bradley #108 Southern Illinois #125 Illinois Chicago #212 Evansville I think Evansville is actually #113 not #212 according to what I'm seeing. However they are #212 in Kenpom.
