Probably as good as any place to put this. Evansville checks in at #24.

22 19 Indiana St. 62 62 Drake 90 93 Evansville 95 97 Southern Ill. 113 117 Missouri St. 126 150 UNI 127 100 UIC 128 129 Bradley 153 152 Belmont 191 193 Illinois St. 256 253 Murray St. 318 322 Valparaiso
New net rankings for Dec. 22. A lot of positives, as we have 4 in B the top 95, and 8 in the top 128 of the conference. Valpo is trying to rise, but currently sitting in the 300s after a rough week or so. Murray is dropping faster than a rock in water currently. But 10 teams in the top 191 is pretty good.

Probably as good as any place to put this. Evansville checks in at #24. I’m curious as to how they define mid-major. It appears to mean any team that is not in a P6 conference, except for Gonzaga. There are 2 WCC schools included. And a team like Memphis is a mid-major. I don’t necessarily disagree with their definition but I found it interesting.

With Ben back we should continue to move up this list. Pretty impressive turnaround so far this season.

I am curious what our ranking will be after we beat Indiana State? We will beat them.

I am curious what our ranking will be after we beat Indiana State? We will beat them. Unfortunately, it probably won't be as big a jump as you would think but hopefully a good 10 spots. For reference, here were our ratings before and after the Bradley win (and Bradley was rated #55 in the NET ratings): But a win over Indiana State could easily move us up a couple of spots (or more) on the most improved teams from last year.

In 2022-2023 we finished #350 in the NET rankings. This year we are #203. A jump of 147 spots.

This is great. Sure would be nice to jump another 147 to 56th. Doubt its going to happen next year, but I sure hope it can happen soon.
It is kind of like the game of golf..it is not as hard to go from shooting 100 for 18 holes to 90, but it is a lot tougher to go from 90 to 80.
