I don't quite get this statement, "The schools, and any associated NIL collectives, will still be prohibited from negotiating deals with recruits or transfers before they enroll." I am guessing that deals are still being verbally offered before enrollment. Is this what happened with John Bol at Florida? Verbally told one thing, then when the negotiations took place once he enrolled the deal went south.

NIL $ should be just that...the ability for an athlete to make money off their the name, image and likeness --- not for being paid to play. If a player is valued at $150k, it should be because that is their value in the world of marketing, advertising and social media, not because that is what a booster from another team will pay them to play. Sorry, but I have 25 other causes to donate to before giving $ to help a college kid be paid to play basketball. Having them participate in marketing and social media and being paid a "realistic" $ amount for that is a different story.

Bradley is certainly getting creative with this. This is an excellent idea and one way I could really contribute to our NIL...lol

Bradley is certainly getting creative with this. This is an excellent idea and one way I could really contribute to our NIL...lol I think there’s a lot of creative ways to raise funds that were just not doing. Things like this, golf scrambles, team dinners, selling NIL player apparel, etc. If we got a charitable collective set up as a 501.3(c) like IUs Hoosiers for Good, we could get tax deductible donations from big donors and also qualify to get a charity gaming license and do a half pot at games that could help raise funds for the collective and therefore the players. There’s a lot of little things that might not generate a ton of funds at once but could compound to make a decent amount of funds and show recruits we have at least have an NIL presence. Sounds like our collectively currently is nothing but a website. Hopefully that changes soon.

Quite honestly, I have some problems with the "anonymous" part of this. A line of beer is a bit outside my realm of acceptance, but it's probably no worse than having a cheeseburger and fries named as the "Chuck Bailey Kids Meal." UE could just turn back the profits from one decent home game and add a few bucks to the pot. "Come to the game, buy a ticket and we will make sure your top players stay on campus."

I noticed this while trolling the Drake @ Bradly game this Saturday:
"Saturday's game with Drake is one of the 4 remaining games that have special ticket prices that support Bradley's NIL program and ultimately support the Bradley players."

I noticed this while trolling the Drake @ Bradly game this Saturday: "Saturday's game with Drake is one of the 4 remaining games that have special ticket prices that support Bradley's NIL program and ultimately support the Bradley players." I’ve seen that too. A portion of every ticket sold goes to their collective. Like I’ve said before, there’s lot of creative ways to raise money that don’t require big boosters to cut $20,000 checks just for players. The Chuck video is a great sign that we’re making progress. Hopefully it’s enough to keep our roster together this spring. Even if it’s not, being able to have evidence that players get NIL deals at Evansville should help a lot in recruiting to replace anyone that leaves.

That is what I am talking about, love that Chuck is doing a Team McClintock promo. Not only puts money in his pocket, but introduces the community to players and builds a relationship with local residents. Now people might want to say, hey, maybe I need to go to an Aces game and check out this Chuck guy.

With any donation I make towards NIL, I would be more comfortable if it was an endowment that could be used year after year -- and not churned and burned for one year only.

I like this idea and recognizes those who make big donations -- as they become "shareholders" in the society.

Question for season ticket holders. Would you be willing to pay an extra $100-$150 for your season tickets if it was going to an NIL fund for the players?
There is a reason I ask.
