If Bobe returns next year and starts in front of Bailey we are indeed in deep doo-doo.

m.youtube.com/watch?v=eXx7KIlIh74Podcast with his dad. I didn’t listen to the whole thing, but they start talking about UE around the 38 minute mark for around 5 minutes and I think it’s well worth a listen for anyone who has time. Quick highlights: Committed to UE because he likes the way Rags was genuine and tried to really get to know him and his family instead of just focusing on basketball. Says his goal is to win 18 games next year and thinks it’s possible. Was excited about the prospect of being the main catalyst of a rebuild. Also said his goal is to only be in college for 2-3 years before making it to the NBA. Said he chose Evansville because he liked the small college atmosphere and how his dorm would be right next to the facility. Thinks he can lock in and focus on basketball more here than the bigger schools he was recruited by.

Also, fwiw, he just tagged his old team mate from Donda Academy that just entered the portal on his instagram story and said “You know what to do 👀💜🧡💜🧡” with a photo of them playing together. He was a top 300 player coming out of high school but didn’t log any minutes for BYU his freshman season. It looks like our staff is following him on Twitter so I’m guessing Chuck isn’t the only one sending him an Evansville recruiting pitch. Reuniting these two would be a great first step in the rebuild. 247sports.com/player/braeden-moore-46109364/

Yes, we should be going after Braeden, and what a combo they would be! The 247 page shows Nashville as his home city, so proximity to Evansville is a positive.

Anthony just posted this. I think it is the same podcast that Larry posted about yesterday:

Sure seems like Braedon Moore, the 6'9 BYU transfer is getting more attention from UE. I noticed that Dr. Ziggy is now following Braedon, along with Marcus and Craig. From what I've seen about Braedon, he would be quite a pickup for the Aces!

In my opinion Braedon Moore would be a game changer for UE. Since he redshirted at BYU we cannot see how he has adapted to the college game but as a HS Senior he received offers from many of the top D-1 teams in the country. They can’t all be wrong in his ability to develop. With Wilson, Snow and now Ziggy following on Twitter I have to believe Braedon is at the top of our recruiting list. I’m sure conversations are being made.
Let’s go Braedon!

Braedon deserves his own thread, I agree everything about him moves the needle. The best part might be his chemistry with Bailey.

From the article I pulled out these quotes he made about himself...would be a great get if he can play as stated.---
“I’m also able to put the ball on the floor, get down low, and make good moves. My fadeaway is really good. I also have a really high IQ, passing the ball and making the right reads,” he said. “I don’t turn the ball over. I’m not sloppy. I’m not going to dribble it 10-15 times before I do something. I’m going to take three dribbles and get somewhere with it. I’m very purposeful with what I do and meticulous. “I’m such a good shooter, I can space out the floor. But once those defenses collapse as a shooter, I’ll be able to go down low. Being able to be in the 10-15 foot range and get down low to shoot those floaters and hook shots, and shooting 3s at a high clip.” -----
Looks like BYU wanted him to transition from wing to playing the 5, which he has never done and probably the reason for going to the portal.
