Why not a barge off of Dress Plaza. Holds equal logic...this idea of Bosse Field takes the cake. Looking @ the schematics, I'm trying to figure out OPTIMUM seats for viewing (if any).
Btw, ISU's Memorial Stadium was initially a BASEBALL facility. Remodeled in '67 when Astroturf was 1st installed on a U.S. college facility (thanks to 3M), the FB field ran from the bleachers 1st to 3rd. Not the best viewing from the middle of the "horseshoe." They ultimately tore down all but the WWI & II Memorial Arch and added the current concrete bleachers. This Stadium had one of the deepest outfields in pro baseball. See 1935, 1955 & 1948 photos enclosed.
The Terre Haute Tots. Neat history. Isn't part of the outfield still standing? Seems like in the long run, Terre Haute would have been better off constructing a football stadium near campus, and leaving Memorial for minor league baseball. I would think they could support something a little higher up the chain than the REX.

Syc Fans have been lobbying for yrs. to get a campus stadium, but $$$ supporting the idea are few & far between. Having a successful program helps move the idea, but... As far as the Rex, they are PRIVATELY owned (Bruce Roselli) and have an agreement w/ ISU re: the Warn Field facility use. Seems to be a successful enterprise and well-managed by Roselli. I'm not sure that TH could support a more costly level of play. www.rexbaseball.com/

That video segment is off the charts. What a positive atmosphere is being created. These coaches are impressive….every one, and they are “in it to win it.” May take some time, but the effort is visible and the enthusiasm is contagious. AND recruits can TELL when a school is on the rise. We may not get all the kids we are after, but there are always some who relish the idea of building something special, and Coach Rags is going to make it happen.
GO ACES!!

More engaging social media content. Can’t wait to see what they have in store for summer practices.

What a difference a true HC and staff can make. You can feel the enthusiasm. This is the way to engage with every stakeholder: coaches, players, fans, alums, UE students, media, and the community at-large. Coach Rags is doing a promo that feels like a conversation with a friend. No wonder the kids he’s recruited are so tuned into him. He’s a real guy who looks you in the eye and tells the truth. I think many of us knew that there was a more proactive approach to UE basketball. It just goes to show how truly behind the times we were with our previous HC. What a breath of fresh air.

I agree with Legend. How far we fell behind with the Old AD and Old coaches. What a difference this guy makes. It is like someone has opened the windows on a nice spring day.
