There are other big fish in the sea and I’m sure our new coach will bring in some good talent. When someone commits to a job, a scholarship to UE or some other endeavor and does not honor that commitment it tells me something about that individual.
I see Ragsdale as a small fish in a small pond. I do not know him but I’m glad he’s gone. In my opinion he would not have fit in with the culture and direction of our team. Most coaches will tell you they look for winners and a winning attitude. I don’t see that in Ragsdale.

I don’t think that’s a fair criticism when UE fired the entire staff he committed to the day after he signed his NLI, two months after the season concluded. We’re lucky there weren’t even more defectors since UE let a lame duck coaching staff recruit for two months before firing them all and the administration not honoring their side of the deal with recent commits. I’m glad the coaching change occurred, but this is far from the time to be criticizing people for “honor” and “commitment” when our own administration just screwed over all the assistants and recruits with no time left to find other opportunities if they wanted. You should be holding Ziggy to higher standards if that’s your opinion.
