Seriously, not 1 recruit from the early signing period?
Makes a guy wonder what is going on.

We apparently signed Logan - but why has UE said nothing about it? Why hasn’t TL said anything? Why no press release? I don’t understand.

It appears you are asking why they haven't mentioned it recently. He signed in August and he's still a senior at N.H. The announcement was made in the summer when not much else about the program was being discussed. I can do some adding by doing some subtracting, if I believe in hints and hunches. Since the UE staff was not quoted in that story, one assumes something. What ever that means to you.

But according to Logan's Twitter feed (retweeting North Harrision athletics), he signed a NLI on November 10. This was not announced by UE or reported by any media as far as I can tell. UE made an announcement about the women's NLI signings and Coach RSW made comments on the players who had signed. Why was a similar announcement not made for the men's NLI signing? That is what I don't understand.

Not officially announcing a signing is sloppy and not too useful from a PR standpoint. It shows me some things about the nature of the AD's office and the university in general. Selling the sizzle is how you make it work, even if it's against conventional practices. Beyond that, I don't see any problems that can't be cured if they hired somebody who used to work at the circus.
I honestly don't know if the athletes themselves pay much attention to that, and I think all of them know enough other players to form their own network when it comes to programs. But it does speak to the nature of how the community and the alumni see UE athletics. Already, interest in the women's program is much greater and I'd wager the volleyball team will pick up a few recruits, even playing a tournament that doesn't truly matter. Non-revenue sports gain the most by public relations and if the money generator (men's basketball) is sitting on its hands, that's a problem.
Years ago, I lived in the Kankakee area and the juco team there was really good. The coach, a local guy, would announce signings of local players as soon as the summer window opened -- he made a big deal out of signing area kids that we all knew from various high schools. Wow, this looks good.
But the guys he brought in later to actually WIN games ... he rarely even announced they'd signed. Those were not the players the community had heard of or cared about. In the end, the team won and he did it every year for 10 years.

Creating a buzz helps with everything in general look at the buzz creates by the woman’s basketball team and volleyball. My daughter attends UE and is now a junior. We bought out season tickets to support the athletics and thought it would be a good thing. It was for a while until we all know the rest of the story. UE made a mistake. Unfortunately when my daughter graduates in another year and a half. We will more than likely cancel our season tickets because unless some sort of improvement is made I will find some other way to spend those monies.
