We all hope that this will be resolved quickly, but if the law firm is working on an hourly bases, I doubt they will be going at a breakneck speed. EXACTLY! What is the incentive for this firm to expedite anything? Looks like we are going to be gathered around the dumpster fire for a while....let's start bringing marshmallows and some stories. stennisrm72 can make a pot run to Illinois. This fire may be the only thing keeping us warm until March.

Do we, as a fan base, really expect this entire thing to be solved in just a couple weeks? Why?
They are investigating Title IX items. That makes it a federal issue. Just because the local yokels aren't involved doesn't mean it isn't a "criminal" or complex issue to come to a conclusion of.

Just a desire for one. You are correct, though, it won't happen quickly nor should it. Well know the outcome when the announce a reinstatement or a national search for a new coach.

If Seltzer wants to coach as though McCarty is just out for a couple of days with a head cold, Seltzer is really missing the point of it all. His job is to coach the team, not hold down a spot on the bench because the players need a faculty adviser present. He knows who he has and he has scouting reports available to him. If all he's doing is waiting for his big chance, um ... dude, you're in it.

To wit, if all of Seltzer's shoes have Velcro straps, he will never learn to tie his shoes. I'm not saying that all he has are Velcro shoes (I haven't paid attention, no, I really haven't), but...if all he is doing is Velcroing his kicks, um...dude, buy big-coach shoes. [amazed that a dude would think that a man with 22 years of college coaching experience and aspiring to be a head coach again one day would forego looking at scouting reports compiled by coaches who are specifically paid to provide scouting reports]

It's a comment. If you aren't happy with them, just ignore it. I don't get paid to be right. So maybe we ought to just establish -- you ain't my enemy. If you really don't get that, sorry.

I apologize. I mistook you for someone who valued logic and sound reasoning. I was caught off guard when you imagined that an interim coach who wants to be a head coach would seek that by ignoring scouting reports and simply twiddle his thumbs until he knew for sure that Walter was banished to a desolate island without a boat or postage stamps. YIKES! No logic there. And of course you ain't my enemy because you ain't muni-cup who gave me a Valley Pickem' ulcer in 2019. And you ain't the newspaper carrier who dumps his auto ashtray around my mailbox. And you ain't my mother-in-law who eats rusty nails and spits porcupine venom. So there, put a chip clip on that corn flake bag because in my experience they are terrible when damp. Evidence A: I wouldn't give that advice to an enemy.

I have to throw this out there even though it makes me throw up in my mouth. Blake Simmons would be a better starter this year than a couple of names that I will not mention. That's how bad it is.

That's how bad it is. Is it as bad as day old, cold anchovy pizza, and warm beer? Ol’ Whiskers eats a couple tins of room temperature anchovies every week for the Omega 6s and I only drink Pappy Vanwinkle. So I would eat the anchovies off the stale dough and pour the beer on my wife’s houseplants. Those are two good outcomes from your hypothetical. That is two good outcomes more than I saw in the Bradley/Washington Generals game.
