We've missed 3 defensive assignments in the first 3 minutes and our offense looks lost. We'll be lucky if this isn't a 20-point blowout Yikes, should have bet on it I guess

Back up to a 17 point deficit at 63-46 with 2:24 left. Hopefully we hear something soon on McCarty so we can move forward (no matter what decision is made). The status quo is not cutting it. Either McCarty comes back (if that is appropriate) or we start a nationwide search. Either way, they aren't going to replace Seltzer in the middle of the season. Correct. If we need to go that direction "we start a nationwide search".

33% from the field, and 25% from 3 point land. That's getting close to the Ladies performance.

I hate this offense. We lethargically pass the ball around the perimeter as if that will magically open up someone. If you had quick short hard passes and a quick ball reversal ,that might work .......this type of passing is not going to get us anywhere. This offense is terrible and I’d rather go back to setting screens ,at least that works and gets open shots. Marty’s teams played much better defense also. No I am not a Marty fan. Just an observation.
Henderson needs to play more also ,at least he doesn’t play like he’s scared.
Not announcing Williams would not play sure screwed over the betting line. Glad I don’t wager.
This team is playing worse than last year.

If a guy is under contract, you can't talk to him unless the school gives permission. I don't know exactly when that time clock starts, and I'd assume the team needs to be out of any tournament play. But there's no shortage of coaches who are on the short list to be called.

It looked to me like he was calling a set every possession. De ja vu? The motion offense would work better if there was more than two designated shooters.

Stupid me forgot to hit "Confirm Bet" on my phone. I thought I was going to Sizzler then I realized my gaff. Back to basketball - I'm not sure what to think. Granted my attention is often pulled by toddler on my lap but I can't believe how many layups (contested and uncontested) we miss. We miss out on 8-10 pts a game it seems. We're simply not good at basketball.

Pathetic! We played like a team that just lost its head coach (who had promised the path to success in the MVC and a chance to lucrative pro play), who was being led by a coach who was unable to inspire or force good play, that was facing a good team without their talented best player ( you know, the wild one with talent and passion for the game). I was hoping that our guys would meet adversity with a good, old-fashioned sense of pride and fight. Instead they seemed just as anxious as the fans to get the game over and take off their purple uniforms and just go cry in a towel somewhere!
Not blaming them, just feeling as down as the team played...

Bradley's defense was more than the Aces could handle. One would have assumed some kind of adjustments in a week's worth of watching film. As good as Bradley looked, let's face it ... they are NOT a top 25 team. The Aces were just not prepared for this game. Maybe not having DeAndre screwed the pooch too late to adjust. I would maybe just choose to believe that.

This monster (investigation) has broke this team.
Tonight wasn't Bennie's fault. He is the freaking substitute teacher. Not one player, or even Bennie himself have an idea if he will even be running practice tomorrow. You can't get any buy-in with that cloud over your head. He got thrown into this, and he is even running short an assistant.
It isn't on the players. For most of them, ever since they left their homes and came here, McCarty has been the center of their existence. Not only do they not have any idea when or if they will be reunited with him, they don't have that central figure in their lives. It's a huge loss for a bunch of 18-21 year olds.
This has to be resolved quickly. Every day that goes by, the monster eats more of anything that has been gained in the last 2 years. The positive direction in attendance, the involvement of the students, the increase in the interest of the program by the area, and local media. The UK win, the increased spending and commitment from the university, the better marketing and game experience..all of the progress is slowly being eaten away with this ugly monster hanging over the program.
To put it in perspective, we had a larger crowd for a weeknight game against D-3 IU-Kokomo than we had for a weeknight conference game against Bradley. This isn't the same team we saw in McCarty's last game against Murray State. Until some decisions are made, we aren't going to see it either.

You are 100% correct. These players, the university, and the fans didn’t sign up for this. The quicker this is resolved the better for all involved.

Marty’s problem with the motion offense was limiting who could freely shoot. Everyone on the floor needs the green light if they’re open. Plus he couldn’t recruit at Walters level.

He was the only one to make any baskets consistently. Really disappointed . Cut the lead to 13 and no urgency. And time running out. Momentum blown and 20 point loss.
