It's interesting this mock draft puts him in the SECOND round. Correct me if I'm wrong but not many players make the show from there. I don't follow the NBA much any more. ?? There are 2 rounds of the draft with 30 players each round. Rookie sliding pay scale goes down to about $1.3M for player 30 in round 1. From what I'se seen players 31 to 45-50 may get a one year guarantee of $850,000 which is league minimum. If you don't make the league and go the G-league route monthly pay is $7,000. No where in the review does it state the DW spent most of the second half of the season injured. Reviewer suggested G-league time would get him some experience since he only has 1 year D-1 experience, being old at 23. Based on that info, another year at UE would surely raise his value and draft potential. If he has a good injury free year. Yes.

My thoughts changed because of the interactions I have seen with the Nebraska transfer during games at the Ford Center. Also, I am pretty sure he doesn't want to sit another year out, and he's not going to get much of a pro offer after missing basically all conference games. I am pretty sure TL had a talk with him stating how his stock would improve playing a full year in the Valley. Oh, I am pretty sure that female UE BB player girlfriend he has has factored in too....LOL Isn't that Makayla Wallace? If so, she announced her intention to transfer a couple of days ago.

Yes, I believe that is his gal. This makes me nervous about him. I really hope the NCAA doesn't get rid of the rule of sitting out a season. If they do waive that, he may be as good as gone!

I’m hoping I’m wrong but I voted he would not be back. I feared the NCAA would waive the transfer sit one year requirement due to the Covid-19 pandemic, opening the opportunity to move “up” to a Power 5 school without penalty. Since he’s 23 years old, I feared he may just declare to go pro, whether he goes to Europe, the G League, etc to start earning a paycheck.
Now, he’s posted a new highlight video on his Twitter page. Is that just because he’s proud of his Aces team or is to showcase his great moments for other coaches who follow him? He hasn’t posted that he’s grinding to get ready for next year at UE yet and now we learn his girlfriend is leaving.

Here is some possible good news. DeAndre's coach at Nation Wide Academy Kenneth Roy expressed that he believe's DeAndre will be back in a purple uniform for a second season.

Couple of things.#1I didn't think Dru would have left because he had a girlfriend at UE,but he did,and maybe his girlfriend followed Dru. Now on DeAndre. Its obvious his girlfriend isn't that good of a player that's why she chose UE,ha ha.Tho only schools j see DeAndre transferring to is a power 5 school and in sure these schools aren't beating his girlfriends door down to come play for them

Doing the math, if he stays, I hope they don't double the number of conference wins they got this year.
But if they go 9-9, that would be all right. Seeing the supporting cast, unless Cunliffe becomes a 20 ppg player with 6 assists and 10 rebounds ... meh ... I think if we are clinging to any hope for 2021, we're just overly zealous fans.
Part of this connects to the type of injury he suffered.
The other part is that recruiting isn't really much to discuss. All the high school seasons shut down after the sectionals and one assumes the seniors in those programs are sorting it out the hard way. Not much of this has to do with DeAndre Williams, other than ... he is easily on the front row when the discussions occur about the Lickliter Aces. If he doesn't see what he likes, he needs to either play ball or get an education -- or both. I don't see this guy in the NBA, sorry.

I agree, good mid major player, only fair P5 conference player, NOT NBA caliber, best option overseas..

DeAndre could be a great player for anybody he played for, inculuding Power 5. There is still something to be said about playing at a place you feel comfortable with and for a coach you like. To DeAndre's credit, it would seem he knows he in a place where he can thrive. Why jeporadize that?

If he follows his girlfriend he'll be at a lower D1 or D2 school.

The people who think he wouldn't make it in the NBA must have forgotten this isn't the nba from the 80s and 90s

As Romeo Langford warms the bench in a Celtics uniform. Just saying.

And Dougie McBuckets is a journeyman pro at best.
