Beat #14 Delaware State 79-66 in the first round. More details on Resume Comparison of the teams. CBI bracketHaslametric scouting report on SeattleUE's Haslametric's pageCovers.com odds: 7.5 point underdogs Starting lineup: Player | Ht/Class | ppg | rpg | mpg | Notes | 05 Tyson, Cameron | 6'3" R-Sr
| 17.6 | 4.3 | 32.0 | 102 made 3's at 38.1% | 00 Schumacher, Alex | 6'3" Sr | 13.3 | 3.6 | 30.5 | 5.1 apg; 31.9% from 3 (30 makes); Gets to FT line a lot (125-165) | 11 Christofilis, John | 6'3" R-So | 13.2 | 2.2 | 29.7 | 41.5% from 3 (61 makes). | 25 Chatfield, Brandton | 6'10" R-Jr | 9.6 | 5.6 | 24.0 | Only 8 made 3's at 25%; 82 Off Rebs | 33 Williamson, Kobe | 6'8" Jr | 9.1 | 5.8 | 24.2 | 16 made 3's at 27.6% |
They seem to be led by their guards who shoot the three well. Their big men seem to make and take very few three pointers. They seem to rebound by committee. Their starters seem to be good FT shooters. They can go ten deep with these players seeing minutes as well: Player | Ht/Class | ppg | rpg | mpg | Notes | 02 Dawson, Paris
| 6'2" Jr | 5.2 | 3.5 | 23.8 | 26 made 3's at 30.2%; 2.3apg; PG? | 23 Reiley, Seyi
| 6'6" Sr | 5.0 | 4.9 | 19.4 | Did start last game; 0-1 from 3 all year. | 21 Rajković, Viktor
| 6'6" Jr | 2.2 | 2.9 | 11.5 | 8-22 from 3 (36.4%); 96.3% FT shooter (26-27). | 24 Gomma, Malek
| 6'8" Fr | 1.9 | 1.5 | 7.6 | Zero 3- point attempts on the season. | 01 Pandža, Vasja
| 6'8" Sr | 1.4 | 1.7 | 12.4 | 5-18 from 3 (17.9%). |
Likely matchups: Gage/Tyson Antonio/Schumaker Kenny/Christofilis Yacine/Chatfield Josh or Tanner/Williamson With Ben out I think we have a decision to make on how we match up with their two bigs (especially the starters). Yacine will match up with one (if healthy) and then we likely will start either Josh or Tanner in Ben's place. It depends if we want to go big or small. Tanner will give up some height and bulk but if we want to go small that is as small as we can go in my opinion. We need to have at least two of the following on the court at most all times to match up down low: Yacine, Josh, Sekou or possibly Tanner. The other three positions we can rotate Gage, Antonio, Cam, Chuck and Kenny and Tanner. Tanner and Kenny will be challenged defensively if we go small though. So, matchups will be interesting in this one for sure.

Seattle will be a formidable opponent for us. But if we can find some way to survive and advance, we have a viable path to the finals IMO:

Anything is possible but after seeing how good Grand Canyon is and Seattle beat them once and lost to them in OT the other. They must be super athletic. Go Aces !

Anything is possible but after seeing how good Grand Canyon is and Seattle beat them once and lost to them in OT the other. They must be super athletic. Go Aces ! They played Grand Canyon three times with all of them being close single digit games (7-point win, OT loss and a 8-point loss in the conference tournament). Update: As ibleedpurple mentioned Grand Canyon is good as they finished 30-5 after beating St.Mary's and losing to #19 Alabama (72-61) in the tournament. The fact that one of those losses was to Seattle and that Seattle played them close three times is impressive to say the least.

www.on3.com/nil/news/cbi-tournament-offers-nil-related-payments-to-semifinalists-16-teams/Didn’t realize this until today, but the CBI has NIL payouts associated with advancing in the tournament. Win tonightand we get $2,500 for our collective. Make the finals and we get $10,000. Win it all and we get $25,000. Hopefully we can find a way to win tonight. Like others have said, the path to the finals is much easier if we can find a way to win tonight. It would be awesome see us get the chance to play on ESPN2 tomorrow night. Hopefully we can get it done tonight

UE just needs to not play sloppy. There is enough size, speed and defense to beat anybody in this field. I still think Cleveland is the team to beat.

One more win and we can guarantee a .500 or better record for the first time since 2017-18.
We currently are 17-17 (but one win was over non-D1 UHSP); so you could make a case that we need two more wins to secure a .500 record or better.
