Only one hour before Selection Sunday. I know Indiana State fans will be on edge, especially considering the conference tournament upsets that occurred yesterday.
Looking at what Joe Lunardi predicted, and the last few teams he thought were on the bubble, I find it interesting that Indiana State has a better NET ranking (no. 29) than both Florida Atlantic (39) and Oklahoma (46) who he had in, and also St. John's (32) and Virginia (54), both listed ahead of IN State in his choice for first four out.
I just have a feeling that Indiana State will be chosen for the tournament. We shall see. I hope so because they deserve to be selected.

www.bracketmatrix.com/That website compiles the top 92 bracket makers and compares their predictions. Last week, most had ISU in. After all the upsets, there’s only 3 that have ISU in currently. I would love to see a multi bid MVC, and I think ISU deserves a shot and could win some games, but sadly, it’s looking like they’re going to set the record for highest NET team left out and end up a NIT 1 seed.

I think ISU really should be in, but I expect that they will not. I am not sure how the NET ranking is used by the committee, but the MVC has had teams with high NET rankings left out before. When all is said and done, they seem to go by quadrant 1 wins, which is tough for mid-majors. Never mind that the NET rankings account for the strength of the teams you are playing and how many quad 1 wins you have. I hope I am wrong.

Yeah, I gotta think the Sicks will end up in the NIT. That's not a terrible fate now. They can recruit off of it.

Previously read where if ISU is awarded #1 NIT seed, they'll host IU in Hulman Center. This could be a BIG winner for the MVC & ISU.

On the bracketmatrix link aceloverlarry provided above, on their website you can click on 'Rankings', and it ranks the prognosticators over a 5 year body of work. Joe Lunardi is only #98. People really need to stop hanging on his every word. But understandably, he's on ESPN and others aren't. On that network, he's expected to shill for the power conferences and he does it well. Jerry Palm on CBS is horrible. I never pay attention to anything he says. He is ranked #142.

Mgbako, Ware, Reneau and Johnson of IU said they're not playing in the NIT,similar to football players opting out of bowl games. Galloway is injured and wouldn't be able to play. So Indiana announced they weren't playing in the NIT to get a head start on recruiting the portal, but in reality, they really had no choice with all their top players out.

Boilermaker College can take their spot. If it were up to me, I'd let IUPUI play that game.

The only thing that could keep the Sycs out was somebody like Duquesne, a program that hasn't been relevant since I was in high school. Guess what happened?

My opinion, the selection committee is a bunch of group think idiots. They want Quad 1 wins from mid-majors, yet we always have to go on the ROAD to get those Q1 wins. Everyone knows how hard road wins are to get. Why those on the committee from non-p5 conferences don't advocate more for mid-majors is confounding??
