Who should we go with down the stretch: Ben, Tanner, Kenny, Chuck and Josh? Tanner and Kenny might need a breather, especially Tanner. But Tanner has been playing really well, so not sure we can afford to take him out. Ben should be rested as he returns with four minutes to go down 7.

The refs are letting Ellington get away with a lot down low.

We got lucky on that last call. Toumi going to the line as the refs called a block on MSU. Yacine hits both to get us within one (68-69) with two minutes to go. Both teams are scrapping.

Yacine with 2 free throws! Let’s go, Aces!

Toumi playing really tough down the stretch (and with four fouls). Aces tied at 70 with 41.8 seconds to go with the ball. Coming down to the wire.

Definitely a foul on MSU's Quincy as he was moving. Ben going to the line with five seconds on the clock. Big free throws and five seconds is a lot of time for Murray. After Ben makes the free throws we need to play good defense and not foul - no layup though.

Bummer. Aces lose 73-70. It wouldn't have mattered if Ben made the FTs as Jacobi Woods hits a three at the buzzer. The guys fought hard but come up short. The Valley is tough. You have to wonder if Ben was tired playing 32 minutes today but he was rested some before he came back with four to go. He is still trying to get to 100%.

What a shame. They worked hard all game to be in it at the end. Free throws helped last game and hurt this game.

Terrible way to lose a game but I guess we used up all our luck at the end of the game on Wednesday night.
Sucks to lose a very winnable game like that, but very pleased with the overall play of the team. We should go at least 3-3 down the stretch if we can play like that every game.

I think if he hits them they have to take the ball out of bounds and maybe take more time to get down the court.

Kenny with a double-double today with 14 points, 10 rebounds and six assists. And Tanner with 15 points, four rebounds and one assist. Ben with 14 points and two assists and Chuck with 10 in just 15 minutes of action and two boards.

It is what it is though, without Ben it wouldn’t been this close. He played a lot of minutes and was obviously tired.

Where could we have made up the three point differential: - Seven missed free throws (16-23);
- Caused more turnovers (Murray with only six turnovers);
- Outscored in the paint 20-40;
- Outscored by five on fast break points (4-9).
