Aces lucky, horrible refs today. The game had no flow because of the refs. Jeff Malham is the bald guy, who seems to have some angst against us for whatever reason. He is the same idiot who called the jump ball for UNI, which enabled them to send the game here into overtime. I don't want Ragland to turn into Steve Prohm and constantly cry, but I do wonder if he doesn't spend enough time riding these guys? Certainly during the Missouri State game, Dana Ford was all over them the entire game, and started both halves with a 6+ foul differential on our home court.

Actually, Gaston was the one that seemed to make the critical calls against UE this game. He awarded a jump ball in the first half when Bobe was the only player that had possession of the ball, awarded Illinois State a time out on a tie up in the second half that would have given the Aces the ball back, and multiple foul calls against the Aces that Rags really questioned at the time, including the “flagrant” against Toumi. I thought Malham actually called a fairly consistent game yesterday, and Buckles loved the offensive foul.

I thought the officiating was pretty weak and inconsistent, especially in the second half.
As someone stated, any win without Ben is a big win. We need to hold serve on the home court Wednesday and then see how things go up at Valpo. Hopefully Ben can get back Wednesday or at Valpo even if for just 5-10 minutes but no reason to rush anything. We need him 100% a month from now when we host Drake and the Trees for a little payback at The Ford. May be wishful thinking this year but surely we can be more competitive with him healthy at home.
Go Aces !

Go Aces ! I think we sit Ben until it’s a top team or he can play 30 minutes. No reason to re injure it for a bad opponent

I still think with him fully healthy and the team playing to their full potential that we can give Bradley a game at home. Ben’s return leading to an upset over them would certainly change a lot of people’s perception of this team.

Another W! I think the Refs called it a little to tight.
ISU was 1-21 from 3 pt range. Is that bad?
