Is this a turnover fest or what? We're winning so I won't complain to much.

That first half by Ill. St has to be one of the worst I've ever seen. We weren't much better. If ISU starts hitting 3s we're in big trouble.

Winnable game even without Ben. Need to cut down on unforced turnovers and keep playing hard on defense. Their shots will start falling so have to keep up the offense. Need to also limit Kenny’s fall away 15 foot jumpers that rarely fall in except it seems when the game is out of hand

I didn't catch the first few minutes but looking at the stats, they are pretty even in most areas.
The key stat is that we have held them to 21 points for the half. That will win a lot of games.
Stats contributing to that are: ISU is only shooting 30% and have 0 made threes and only three FT attempts (and makes) and have zero bench points.
On our side, we can improve on: 8 TOs is a few too many; only two offensive rebounds; 0 fast break points and getting off to a better start as we were down 10-2 to start the game. That is, two points in the first seven minutes. Luckily our guys off the bench picked us up.

Correct 4 TO's by Toumi. WTH

Start Cuff, Haffner, Toumi, Bailey and Hughes in the 2nd. Agree but would be surprised if it happens

Why handicap us each starting half with the shovel-ready group to give us a big hole to climb out of? I believe our dismal play is the result of our Coach's player line-ups. Use the right people and we could be the team burying people.

Laziness on Toumi used his hands instead of moving his feet to block out

I’ve got a feeling once one of their outside shots fall they will all start falling and the game will be close

ISU has won four conference games and we are playing without Ben, hard to believe that ISU normally plays and shots this bad. We are not playing much better but up ten (37-27). ISU is 0-18 from 3 with 13:30 to go.

Gage picked up his third foul at 13:34 - so he might be on the bench for a little bit. The last four minutes ISU has got it to six points with 11:59 to go as we have only scored four points in the last 5 1/2 minutes. Now a four point game at 39-35 at 11:55. Three fouls on Josh now as well.

Not sure why Hafner hasn’t played this half. He’s a better guard option them Thomas in regards to offense
