Anyone have a clue what this crazy Murray chick is triggered about? The only proper way would have been if Tommy had pronounced it "Whiner" All he does is prance and whine on the sidelines. I guess destroying a Big 12 program will do that to you. Every fanbase has some crazed people. From reading some of her tweets, this woman is a nutcase. I would hate to be seated anywhere near this idiot, and would be ashamed to know her. I just had to post last night that Murray had a classy fanbase. You're right, one whackadoodle doesn't equate a fanbase. My guess is she is referring to the siren during the intro video. Sirens are used in nearly every stadium. My neighborhood in Newburgh got hit by the March 2020 tornado. I can assure you when the pressure suddenly drops and you hear that roar, it gets pretty scary. Even having experienced that, never ever has it popped in my head when I heard a siren used in a stadium. This is an extreme and very bizarre reach. We should send her to the Thunderbolts game. They have a fan hand crank an air raid siren before the start of each period. Every road arena in the league can mispronounce Ragland if it means a 20 point victory for us..and you won't hear a peep about it.

i don't have a whole lot to add to this. I would give an A+ to Logan and Ziggy for all the effort in getting people there today. Also the entire staff for the EXCELLENT game videos. Tommy as always did a superb job, the students even though still on break had a small but vocal presence. The band sounded better than ever and the young lady who sang the anthem knocked it out of the park. Lastly, the fans who showed up and would have created a fantastic atmosphere reminiscent of the best Roberts Stadium crowds if only we had been competitive. There's my silver lining at hats off to all of those involved. Please, Please keep it up.
The game was lethargic. The team was not ready and without question played the most horrible 40 minutes I have seen all year. Murray threw some pressure at them, but I am still not convinced they are anything buy a .500 team at best. This was entirely on us today. Crap it out and learn from it. Every year, we seem to have a game or two like this. I took a glance at the '99 schedule, the last year we won the league. We lost by 30 to SLU in Hawaii. We lost by 32, yes 32 to Bradley and still took the next two from them. Like I said, crap it out and learn. This is our lowpoint for the year so far. If it ends up being the lowpoint for the season, we will have done alright.

All our players looked like deer in headlights as no one wanted to take control of the game.We were hesitant to shoot the 3 ball or even take a shot the 1 st half and the only reason why our 3 ball percentage was high was because Bobe was 4-4 after the game was already decided.

Best part of the game was she said yes on the marriage proposal.

Us "Bandwagoners" will begin falling off and start looking for the next trend after that performance yesterday. I attended the contest with three others. Two of which vowed to never return to a UE game, this season.

Anyone watch the game on TV? Like they say, watch the film. Coaches always watch the game later that night or the next day. When they do, they we realize this wasn’t entirely on the guys. I’d say this was 65/70% coaches fault. There was no offensive system in the first half. If someone knows what we run or are known for let me know. We can either want guys to do their solo thing or attempt to run plays. Neither happened first half. How about finding something that works and going back to it over and over again? Even when Ben is playing, it’s just him deciding when he wants to shoot or assert himself.
Then on defense, as some has mentioned, we always give up the 3 ball, when we play zone or man. It’s crazy. There was numerous plays that I don’t think anyone was guarding anyone. That’s coaches, that’s the position they’re putting them in or allowing them to stay in.
Finally, the rotations. It’s clear several guys shouldn’t be in at the same time. You can’t have 3 guys who don’t like to pass or wants iso action in the game at the same time. Cam was 50% shooter last year. Probably because he had plays called for him and got open shots. Now he’s just hoping a guy passes it to him when he’s open. The few plays he gets it’s off a staggered screen with a bad pass coming to him.
Guys looked bad yesterday. 12 turnovers in the first half is horribe, especially the style of those turnovers. But the seconds half was actually worse. There are games that we can squarely blame the players and there are games we need to blame the coaches as well.

And someone mentioned Bobe was 4/4, but after the game was essentially over. 4/4 in a D1 game is legit whenever it happens. We started knocking down 3s at the end of the game because our pace was fast, we were rotating the ball quickly, we were actually looking for the shooters and guys were being unselfish. It was like a hurry up offense or run and gun in football. I don’t know if we can do that all game, but there’s something to learn from that.

I don't know if this is a fact, but it's kind of the quacking duck. When B-Hum is not playing, the Aces usually lose. That dates back to 2019. When B-Hum IS playing, the Aces usually win. All that being the fowl facts, UE showed itself to be stuck in place at times against a team that is quicker, though not necessarily more talented. I don't know if you can teach quickness, talent or tallness -- there are those who claim you can't, and some of them are on Twitter, which is where I look for factoids about basketball, Berlin, other places for walls and, of course Taylor Swift tunes. Absorbing all that, when you are 6-feet-10, you are close enough to the rim to be able to catch a pass and make a layup. If I were 6-feet-10, I think I'd make that shot fairly often. Anything that is just flung toward the glass is, by definition, a forced or desperation shot. This is getting back to the part about talent, which isn't the same thing as learned skills. It's also not how B-Hum plays. I just had a coffee and looked out at the snow here in the Region. I am bored and there's no game today. It's January and I took down the Christmas lights and pondered the image of Paul Johnson, a silently famous player from 1928 who averaged 14 points a game at Indianapolis Crispus Attucks in its first ever season. Not many people have heard of Paul Johnson. THE UE FIGHT SONG. C'mon now! On your feet, you turkey necks! (Am I allowed to call people fowl names?)

I took a look at her tweets as well. Middle age, no sign of ever being in a relationship and a ton of cat pictures. I think we know all we need to know about this one.

Why? 1. No one wanting to enter my row during the team introductions 2. Not having to stand up to allow the same people to go to the concessions 20 seconds before a media timeout 3. Not having these people straggle back from the concession stand in 2 or 3 groups

Seems like the ushers could control this better and wait till a break in action before letting people back down the aisle.

Ask daddysboy. My guess is yes. After all, only Wilson can get the best out of "his guys." But I'll wait for daddysboy to weigh in. I have no idea what the kids are worth. But, I guarantee they’re worth more than zero. Right now, that’s what they’re getting. Again, my guess is we have until Mid March to show some type of action. I don’t think this stretch has hurt them. It has probably elevated Ben, apparently we can’t win without him. The others, we’re in conference play hopefully the fellas will figure it out. Coaches will get better and players will get better…hopefully. The worst part of all of this is that you will remind us a hundred more times that "Wilson's guys" will be chasing pots o' gold. I believe you. But that will be followed by even more "I told you so" comments. I can hardly wait. We have as much chance of retaining Wilson's guys as Wilson has of ever being a head coach. He hasn't been anywhere long enough to cast a shadow. I've had cats with more focus. The two of you have taught me that college basketball is no longer all that enjoyable. The term 'student athlete' is a relic from the past. The self-promoting, just-passing-through athlete has taken their place. Until recently, player bios mentioned their college majors. Not today. The UE MBB website lost interest in trivialities. Majors and degrees are for walk-ons. Now there are two kinds of scholarship players, the ones who will soon be playing in a recreation league and the ones who will need travel agents and financial advisors. Wilson's Chuck declared that his plan was to play two years of college basketball and then suit up with LeBron. Sounds like a plan. Not a good plan, but a plan. Some people are thoroughly methodical in plotting a successful future and some buy Powerball tickets. Wilson isn't in his ear promoting a college degree. Far from it. I still appreciate the genuine student athletes. Young men like Evan Kuhlman and Noah Frederking are recent prime examples. They committed to a university, a major and a professional career. They are winners. They will always be winners.

The two that vowed to never return were probably some of the idiots that kept chatting on the stairs and couldn't figure out how to find a seat. One bad home performance and we have idiots vowing never to return? Bye!
The ushers need to do what they do during the hockey games. They stop people at the top of the stairs until there is a dead puck.
