I still believe our offense is to much dribble dribble and not passing to find the open man.No set plays.

The Aces are in big trouble if Bobe needs to play 25 minutes 🤦♂️🤷♂️ The Bobe v Haffner minutes comparison is puzzling. Cam wasn’t having as big of an impact as most fans would’ve wished, but he was definitely better than Bobe. Hopefully that’s not a trend that continues in the Miami game. I’d like to see much more of Cam & Sekou when the games actually matter.

Also, there’s no reason why Bobe should play more minutes than Chuck Bailey!!

Seriously, 1 exhibition game in against a team that nobody needed to scout for reasons that would have made no difference and, well ... whatever. For all you know, Cam Haffner has the stomach flu.

An interesting stat that is bound to generate some discussion is that Gage Bobe in 26 minutes of play had far and away the best +/- differential (+23). He only scored four points but appears to have played an error free game: 2-2 from the field, 3 rebounds, 1 assist and 0 turnovers. So glad to see somebody picking up the mantle for Gage this season! I will ignore the 4 detractors that posted after you disparaging his performance and asking why *fill in player's name* played less than Bobe and let these statistics speak for themselves. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure that out.

Ok I’ll ask - who scored all the points to contribute to a +23 for Bobe considering he only scored 4 points and dished out 1 assist? Maybe Bailey had something to do with that both on the offensive and defensive end of the court?
We’re not bashing him at all..Bobe works hard and has earned a role on this team. I’m just saying you can’t play him at the 2 spot more than a 4-star recruit Freshman who already flashed potential on both ends of the court.

I was certainly impressed by Bailey, Cuff, Kalle. Humrichous was pretty good on offense, but one glaring thing to me, at least, was how much he was being scored on. His defense was not good, in my opinion, or else everyone was just lucky in scoring over him. I also thought Cam struggled mightily with his defense. When Wabash screened him, he seemed to be lost many times. Toumi has improved a bit on free throws. Wabash was confident in attacking either outside or inside. I really thought the Aces would prevent interior damage because of the significant height advantage, but that advantage just didn't show out like I thought it would. I thought the Aces looked improved on moving/passing the ball, taking care of the ball, and using their depth of talent. I'm just concerned that a Division 3 team, regardless of how good they have been, would be putting 40 points on the board by halftime. Bailey was indeed electric when he was on the floor. Cuff played well, and so did Kalle. Just my thoughts on what I observed ... others may feel differently.

And there off, basketball season is here! I wait all year for this.
This group should get double digit wins. Now they have some film to study and learn from.
Go Aces!

Passes create open 3 point shots, hence Wabash was able to shoot the 3.Now dribble penetration will open the 3 if the dribbler passes the ball to a open player on the perimeter.

AAU ball is a bad habit to break. They all do that now and the coaches aren't going to have any luck changing it. The best players are the best athletes and the best athletes are the guys who get recruited.

Attendance of 3027. You would have to go back to the McKendree game in November 2014 to find fewer people in attendance for an exhibition game than that. The Aces need convincing Ws to keep the riverboat from capsizing. The Miami-O game in eight days would be a good time to have one.
Here is all that I learned from the Wabash game. The popcorn is still too salty.
