It is an exhibition. 11 weeks of practice makes a team stale. Wabash isn't exactly terrible.

I assume you are still our official Twitter poster again this year for virtually everything. 5 people posted the lineup that wasn't official until we saw the Twitter snip.

Tanner with 10 points leads us at the half and has our only made three pointers. Chuck with eight points on 4-6 shooting. Rebounding is spread out with every player having at least one rebound; Sekou leads us with five rebounds and also has six points.
Certainly not the expected stat leaders. Good to see that we have lots of players who can lead us in the box score on any given night.

Toumi is 1-4 from the FT line; so early indications are that he has not improved from the line. But it is a small sample size.
Update: Toumi did finish 5-9 from the FT line; so, he did make four of his last five FTs. So will be interesting to monitor if he has improved.

Sounds like the defense is better to start the second half. Finally in the lead at 48-46 at the first second half timeout. Hopefully we can make a run and put some separation between us.

With 12:19 to go Wabash is still shooting over 50% from three as they are 10-19 (53%). Still need to tighten up the defense more. But up one at 55-54.

I have a feeling that Wabash is going to be pretty good in the D3 ranks as they were 21-8 last year and returned ten of their top eleven scorers this year. With that said we still need to get some separation here and finish strong and beat them by a minimum of double digits. Hopefully this is a wake up call that we can't underestimate any opponent.

I don’t care if it’s an exhibition or not. We can not lose at home to a D3 team. If anyone tries to justify a loss through anything then we’ve lost seriousness as a program.

Here's a good photo of Chuck dunking on the fast break:

Another cool basket by Chuck off the nifty assist by Kenny:

Stat wise there's a lot to like. Not to many teams are going to light it up from 3 point land. Free throws were ok but need to improve. The bench outscored the starters. We out rebounded somebody.
