“Rambo” is a transfer from Cleveland State. Last year at Cleveland State he played in 25 games, all off the bench and averaged 1.5 ppg in 5.5 minutes a game, never scoring more than six points. Talk about a breakout game last night (27 points). The announcer said that he had lost a lot of weigh since last year. www.espn.com/mens-college-basketball/player/stats/_/id/4898221/anderson-mirambeauxHe will certainly be a matchup issue for schools without a true big.

"Rambo" was kinda like a bigger version of Casebier! Remember how Casebier tore teams up when he played? He certainly torched Notre Dame when they came to town years ago. It seems that those broad, strong guys are hard to hang with!

Actually Casebier was a totally different kind of player. He was only 6-3 but had exceptional inside moves for a small player who could shoot the ball with the best of them. Comparisons are hard to make but Parrish was a blend of Larry Humes and Marty Simmons. Mirambaux was just a huge player with good feet. We just didn’t have a good matchup for him.

Casebeir still has a year of eligibility left. Ha! Maybe with all the transfer rules we could still get him back. Ha! Nice win, they are going through same thing we are as far as a new team, new coach. Boy he sure got made at the refs a lot. But that is saying something when you win the games you should. Night and day difference from last year. Thank you Lord.

Casebier's rap sheet makes WMC seem like a Saint. His Wikipedia page sums it all up. Disturbing and just very sad.

I thought Mirambeau was a comparison with Gage Prim. Just get the ball, back into the lane and camp out there. The 3-second rule stopped being called against these guys.
