How would you like this guy roaming the middle of the Aces defense. The scary thing about this video is that he is only a sophomore. Also I would love to be a fly on the wall when these coaches, like Bruce Pearl, come to visit and talk with Marcus. Go Aces!!!

What I noticed is that for his age and height he’s very athletic. That surprised me honestly. He would be a legend at UE. Especially if we could pair him with some 3 star/4 star talent. I think Ragland is going to surprise some people with his recruiting hauls.

We certainly have competition. Nothing is a given, that is for sure.

I think our coaches could shock the world getting him to commit to UE. I bet it would help us land a few higher ranking recruits if they know he (Bol) was committed to Evansville.

17 rebounds (9 offensive), 3 blocks, 6 points, 2 assists, 1 turnover and only two fouls in 37 minutes against some of the best players in the country in a top 100 camp.

These kids are on another planet. I’m happy to see UE mentioned in the same sentence as John Bol, but the best part of John’s transfer to the academy in KS, and his play on the elite circuit is that we might pick up a teammate/opponent that wants a small school environment..
ALL of the guys in this level of competition would be stars in the MVC, even if they were subs on the Futures circuit. The fact is that every one of these kids aspire to play in the NBA, ASAP.
That said, we should continue to hope. The Bates kid’s transfer from Memphis instantly made E. MI relevant in the MAC, so coaches, location, and relationships DO matter.

I'm going to be very disappointed with Marcus if he can't bring this kid to UE.

I'm going to be very disappointed with Marcus if he can't bring this kid to UE. Marcus’ first duty as a parent is to help his son decide what is best for him, taking into account many factors……….not please fans of any school. Even after that is said and done, an 18 year old can legally decide on their own. It would be fantastic if he attended UE, no doubt. I’m not betting the deed to my house expecting that to happen.

I wouldn't bet a nickel that that he will do it, but I do reserve the right to be disappointed if he doesn't.

I too will be disappointed, just not with Marcus. Let’s hope for the best. We’ve got two seasons to show him our program has promise and in good hands.

I don't think there is any question that John Bol will be a major force at the college level. Remember he has two more years of high school eligibility and is already making plays like this on both sides of the ball (in a ten second clip):
