This probably ought to be required "reading" for our men's teams. RSW ought to be considered as a motivational speaker for the men's team. She has a positive, upbeat way of not only making the game fun but also breaking it down simply.

Get out and run when you have a chance but pulling it back out and running your offense when something is not there; and on defense making your opponent uncomfortable and taking shots they are not comfortable with by pressing the opponent and using this to jumpstart your offense. A pretty good recipe for success, especially when you are upping the level of recruit coming in and creating an environment that kids want to be in and play in.

Now, with that said we will see how they do in conference play - as the level of the competition is going to go up another notch and it will be interesting to see how they respond.

Iowa (on the road) should be a very stiff test and a measuring stick of how far we still need to go to get to postseason play. Obviously don't expect to win that game but this hopefully will prepare them for conference play.
