Is it possible for the Women's coach to recruit for the Men's team? She’s getting the job done.

YES, she IS getting it done. OK, there may be a recruit or two who could be marginal D1/D2, but there is a common thread….she’s going for “team-first,” hard nosed kids, and she’s casting the net. If we don’t hire an outgoing recruiter to run the men’s program, the women will be playing at FORD every game, and the men will be playing home games at Meeks.

Is it possible for the Women's coach to recruit for the Men's team? 💯 She would be a better coach and recruiter.

Here is a press clip of Kynidi after Silver Creek lost the 3-A State Championship to South Bend Washington 93-35. Silver Creek was 26-2 going into this game, and defeated South Bend Washington in last years state final. Despite the drubbing, Kynidi showed a lot of maturity and grace in this post game clip. Can't wait to see her at UE.

Reminding ourselves that signing 2 players and announcing it is as we expected. The girls ended their season on Saturday. The boys have not.
We do need a strong inside player.

Seeing that both of our in-state recruits for next year made the indiana all star team.
Way to go rayah and kynidi, can't wait to get them on campus
(And hopefully we find an experienced post somewhere, too)

For sure, young women who want to play basketball can easily see UE as a destination, not a consolation pick. The very best of the very best are being lured to the top 10 programs where they will likely be politely asked to sit on the 13th and 14th chairs during games. If girls want to grow into a competitive athletic program, the Valley is as good as it gets. Come for the education, stay for the fun. I think RSW will continue to exploit that strategy although there are not a lot of openings on the roster.

Kincer may be a little risky. She's had injuries 3 out of 4 years and only played in 2 games this year. Her good stats were in her junior year when she averaged 19 ppg. She won't be playing in the All Star game against Ky. in Owensboro.
