Seltzer said: - there are a lot of intricacies to Walter's offense and that he was still learning it.
- He sometimes relies on the veteran players to fill in the gaps.
- He's begun adding some of his wrinkles - sets and plays that he is comfortable with - to the offense. (Good!)
I guess that explains some of the problem.

Yes - that's a problem. I always thought they should have elevated Coach Commodore to interim head coach when the announcement was made. He has been Walter's assistant since he started here, recruited a lot of the current players, has been recruiting the recent commits, and seems to have a good relationship with the guys on the bench and likely in the locker room. Why elevate the newest assistant coach with limited experience in the system? Why not give Commodore the chance to be a head coach and see what he can do?

Given the results so far I'm inclined to agree with you. BUT... TC has no head coaching experience at any level. And how much does he fully understand all the offensive nuances from the fourth chair last season? Overall Benny was probably the best choice but my expectations for the balance of the season are not high.

I think TC was the best choice too, but I understand why it didn't happen. I think Coach Seltzer was probably Walt's top assistant just based off of experience and whatnot, but TC has helped us land a lot of guys as noted by his shot outs on some of our commitments tweets. I just hope we get some clarity soon because this season could be saved but we need Walter back for that to happen.
