Mid 3Q and winning by 7. They have looked pretty good in 2nd half.
Broadcasters said Ruffing was out in COVID protocol.

If Ruffing was out on Covid protocol, seems like UE could have just said that instead of allowing a rumor mill to get started. Nothing like being just a little bit honest ... it goes a long way in this heated world.
What little I know about women's basketball, it is more about execution at times. The UE team seems to have a good concept in place. I like their offense if they can just play it more efficiently. I am not sure why they lose so often.

I don’t know what is meant by Covid protocol in the Ruffing situation, but I assume he was in some form of contact with someone who tested positive or he himself tested positive. My question is how does the Ruffing situation differ from the men’s team that is currently in some form of quarantine? As they used to say “something is rotten in Denmark.” To me the whole situation in the athletic department and some degree the Administration smells.

yes - and if he was in the protocol along with a few of the players, then why did they have to forfeit a game last week rather than postpone due to Covid-19?

Sounds more like this went down:
Where's Ruffing?
Out in Covid protocol.
Oh, I hope he gets well.
Yeah, I am sure all will be fine.
That about covers it, thanks.
