Paul Atkinson announced today that he will graduate and transfer to another school. A 6-10 220 power forward with one year of eligibility. He averaged 17.6 ppg, 7.3 rpg and led the Ivy League in field goal percentage all three years at Yale.
I know we are out of scholarships for the coming year but if there is a way of working something out he would fill the middle of our lineup. His parents now live in West Palm Beach, FL so he’s probably leaving Yale to play his senior year closer to their home.

I missed the part about him graduating in the Spring and transferring then. That means we would have a scholarship available if he should show an interest. He will probably end up at a powerhouse school with a chance to go to the ncaa tournament.

But you never know; usually it comes down to who you know - maybe one of the coaches was his dad’s roommate in college, but not likely.

Don't forget that one of the criteria for a graduate transfer is that UE would have to have a graduate program that Yale does not have. With UE having so few graduate programs, chances of a grad transfer is slim.
