In case you didn't see Chad's info, Steve Beaven, the author of the new book on the UE crash and aftermath will be having a book signing at Barnes & Noble on Green River Road at 1:00PM on Sunday, the 5th. www.facebook.com/events/838973623226054/I also understand he will be in the lobby of the Ford Center before the game tomorrow night doing the same.

This is a real nice read and does a great job defining the people who made up that first D1 team and the subsequent rebuild. I found some curious methods to the story but all in all, this is a book you need on your shelf to share in future years.

Looks like he never showed for the book signing at the Ford Center. Something else that got screwed up down there tonight.

Apparently his pre-game signing was at the Rooftop, not the lobby.
I did get by Barnes and Noble today, and got a signed copy. Nice crowd over there, and they will be keeping it in stock if you want to buy it locally.

It's also a quick buy on Amazon if you prefer the Kindle version. There aren't many books that come this close to home for Evansville as this one. It's powerful stuff.
