Tuesday 6 p.m. Braun Field -- be there!
Peay is the non-con opponent.
Chase Hug is back, adding a lefty crusher in the UE lineup. Hug was a beast in 2023 with the memorable Slam in the MVC tournament that beat the Sycos.
Box score on that one if you want a refresher moment that is better than your first Playboy centerfold.

Two surprising new guys are Harrison Taubert (.883 OPS) and Brodie Peart (.920 OPS). Peart is a frosh getting big innings at 2B with Cal McGinnis and Kip Fougerousse now DH'ing. Kip is still the other 1B to hit against lefties.
I assume Kevin Reed will pitch Tuesday. The Peabodies are 16-11 overall and in the A-Sun after spending most of the Middle Ages in the OVC. Lyle Miller-Green is having a year for the Govvies that you only dream about. John Bay is another threat. Jon Jon (I ain't makin' that up) Gadzar is a third threat.
I am posting Jon Jon's picture just because ....
A-P will score runs. Team BA of .329 is not realistic, but it's real.
Pitcher not named. No streaming for that one. But there is old-fashioned radio.
---------
The visit to Belmont is going to be a horse race as the Aces owe these guys -- the Teddy Bears swept the Aces at the Braun last year. Not good. Not good.
The Bruins (15-13) scored 15, 14 and 13 runs in a sweep of Murray, which took 3 from the Aces. Do the math on that one. Mason Landers and Brodey Heaton are hitters to watch.
Standard pitching rotations most likely.
