Looks like a 6'8" version of Ben. Smart versatile player who is a blocking machine (especially for his height). Very efficient numbers.

This is our type of guy! And only 2hrs away 🤞🏻🙏🏻 Looks like he played high school ball at Breese Mater Dei, they always have good teams and kids who understand the fundamentals of the game. Hope he commits to the Aces.

Looks more athletic than Ben. He’s the kind of player that creates problems from many angles for the opposing teams. He may have only one year of eligibility left but he could be an important bridge for a 2025 recruit the coaches are looking at. Also, there’s a large number of teams contacting him already which is a good sign.

I meant "like Ben" in the sense that he is smart and has efficient numbers "like Ben" and he is almost as tall. Hence, "a 6'8" version of Ben". Not sure if Yacine is coming back or not but could be an option there as well. We also have Nic Book as an option for the front line.

I’m hopeful the coaches will find some magic players to put a winning team on the floor at the Ford.
However, realistically we are expecting lightning to strike twice in the same spot. When I think of the many great players who were Aces in the past there were sometimes years between those strikes. Basketball was so different then. Not as many teams then and college basketball was not on the pedestal that it is today. Robert’s Stadium was one of the largest in the country and we won games there.
UE has not been to the ncaa for 25 years. Recruits today aren’t looking at Evansville’s past and want to rebuild that glory. They are looking out for themselves. To be honest I would probably be doing the same thing as Ben. I don’t have another 25 years to see us make the dance and lose in the first round.
We must build a future program in D-1 that is one of success year after year.
