These will likely be a brutal final three games for our Lady Aces. At #2 Belmont; Host #1 Drake; Host #5 UNI We are currently #12 in the MVC with 4-24 record and 2-15 conference record. Note: Bradley is also 2-15. MVC standings: mvc-sports.com/sports/wbballEarlier in the year we lost to Belmont by 44 points at home; by 10 points at Drake; and lost by 30 points at UNI. |

I took one for the PAP team and attended the women's game tonight (while the men were playing at the same time) and endured another loss, 86-53 to Drake. We are down to 7 players as Hartwig was in a boot. We played hard, but Drake is simply a very disciplined team. On one possession they passed the ball about 8 times around the horn with no dribbling before a crisp pass went into the paint for a wide open bunny.
I haven't seen any announcement, but Saturday vs. Bradley, may be Senior night for Tomancova as she is a grad student. Does she have another year??

Since she's a graduate student this year, so I would doubt that she does. This is where it gets fun. By my count she played in 3 seasons plus one season that qualifies for a Med Redshirt.
2018-19 Minnesota - played in 6 games, got injured and missed final 22 games. This qualifies for Medical Redshirt? 2019-20 Minnesota - played full season 2020-21 Transfer to UE - did not play due to NCAA transfer rule (also this is considered the COVID year)
2021-22 UE - did not play due to injury
2022-23 UE - played in 22 games 2023-24 UE - played in most games, mysteriously absent for 1 month/8 games, but back in line-up tonight
