Anybody know what the largest margin of defeat by one team was where the other team came back and won the next game in the same season? Is it possible that we have a chance at history if the guys are locked in and focused from the get go? I know in the 2002-2003 season that a 9-18 UCLA team had suffered to losses to Arizona during the regular season (87-52 at home and 106-70 on the road) before beating a #1 NCAA seeded Arizona team in the Pac-10 tournament in OT 86-79 (after getting down by 15 points in the second half). This is similar to our victory over Bradley after getting beat by them by 36 points earlier in the year. Not sure if there is a larger "turnaround" between two teams in the same season or not. Source: fivethirtyeight.com/features/it-really-is-harder-to-beat-a-team-the-third-time-in-mens-college-basketball/ Just two years ago we lost to Illinois State 94-56 on the road and then turned around and beat them at home 56-53 two days later. I’m not sure what the record is, but that series should put us pretty high in the records book already. That series was also essentially the last straw that led to a mid season firing of Dan Muller.

I know this won't count to a lot of people because it happened before the Aces were Division I, and/or before they were born, but I still remember being at Roberts Stadium with my Dad and uncle, seeing the Aces, with 3 starters back from the undefeated team, pound Butler 104-68 in early January, 1966. Then a few weeks later, I could hardly believe they lost to that same Butler team 110-83 in Indy. Channel 7 televised that game and I recall Gus Doerner telling the play by play guy, Jerry Birge, that "At least Butler won't beat us as bad as we beat them at home." From a 36 point win to a 27 point loss was crazy.

Past 2 games Kalle hasn't been dressed. I don't know if he was hurt or injured but he was in street clothes I forgot about that. Hope he is good to go. This is the kind of game where he could help.

They basically gave us our due. But also sounded like to me they still do not respect us. Doesn't really matter, same thing play hard defense and come out good from the get go. Go.Aces!!!

Could've used him last game. Even if he only played 4 minutes and had 0 stats besides 4 fouls, 4 fouls on the 38% free throw shooting big man that was killing us inside couldve swung the game in our favor.

Pregame warmups: Antonio with the near mid-court three and Tanner with the FT. Hope this is a good sign.

We are settling for the 3 way too much IMO. Five attempts already out of 7 FG attempts with only the initial Gage make. But only down two (7-5) with Ben's rebound and put back off a missed three.

Good sequence from Kenny there with that steal and assist to Ben for 3 Kenny is getting real good at sneaking around the backside of the opponent when their big gets the ball down low and stealing it.
