I'm not sure how UNI is doing this year but I'm sure if will be a tough game for them.

UNI only has one win this year and we are down 43-16 to them at halftime. We have two wins on the season.

Seriously don't think we will have much to talk about from here on. That mess tonight against a 1-9 team .... yeah, all the explanations have been given.

Did not watch the game tonight, but went to a high school game last night that was more enjoyable to watch than the UE games. Another dismal night shooting the ball.
UNI's record is deceiving as they have 5 losses against P6 conference schools and they were 23-10 last year. I see Emily Holterhaus is playing for UNI, she was a "1st team all conference" for their volleyball team this year.
All our incoming freshman should all be competing for a starting spot next year.

I believe they're the pre-season pick to win the conference.

I wonder if Guilia Cordona or Melanie Feliciano play basketball? We could certainly use their leaping abilities.

I believe they're the pre-season pick to win the conference. To be honest, I was a little surprised to see their record as poor as it was. The Iowa women's teams are usually quite strong.

...To be honest, I was a little surprised to see their record as poor as it was. The Iowa women's teams are usually quite strong. I agree ATP. Two reasons their record is deceiving: - They have played a very tough non-conference schedule (just like the UNI men tend to do). They have losses to #3 Iowa, Syracuse, Vanderbilt, RV Creighton (not sure what the RV is for), Iowa State. And even South Dakota and South Dakota State seem to be good teams.
- They also have at least two players that have recently joined the team or come back from injury in 5'11" Ryley Goebel (who played in all 31 games last year as a freshman and was a starter this year before an apparent injury) and Emily Holterhous (6'2" senior volleyball start and high school basketball star).
So, I would expect them to play better in league play as they are battle tested and seem to be healthier.

She originally went to the coach to see if she could be a practice player. The coach said yes. They apparently were impressed with her and ask her to be on the team. This game was her first with UNI. I assume that you know she was a volleyball player and she was good at that. She's a senior so this is her last hooray.

Yes, I remembered her from the volleyball court, then saw her name in the b-ball box score against us, so was curious how she came to be on the team.
