Chuck is making a case for hisself as Freshman of the year in the Valley. He probably has a leg up on all other freshman based on he being a 4 star recruit.

It’s neck and neck between him and Drakes Kevin Overton. Overton has slightly better statistics right now, and at times, he has been the best player on Drakes team, which is quite impressive. Hopefully Chuck’s impact will continue to grow as he gains more minutes and confidence and he separates himself, but right now they’re neck and neck.
Humrichous and Swope are also neck and neck for the Newcomer of the Year right now. I’d give the edge to Swope right now but if we finish top 4 and Ben maintains his stats you could definitely make an argument for him as Newcomer of the year.
We should definitely be seeing lots of post season accolades this year if our play continues like it has.
