Great game for the Aces. I followed IU women over the past few years and have a lot of respect for their coach, Teri Moren. She just got a contract extension at 1.3 mil/yr thru the 2028-29 season. You could say she is the new Pat Summit of college basketball.

IU game on Dec 18th - UE wants to get a lot of fans to the game and may do some type of reception.
EKU game last night - should of won that game and a real breakdown defensively to let Antwainette Walker go off for 38 on us. Granted, she is one of the top mid-major players in the country, but knowing that, how did we not put more pressure on her and let the other players beat us. There was no ball denial on the inlet pass to her -- how do we not have a defender on her like glue? It was mostly slack defense till she received the ball, which is way to late for a player with her skills.
Bright spots for us -- our 2 freshman bigs played well again - Navaeh Thomas 24pts/8reb and Maggie Hartwig 10pts/11reb, while they shot a combined 16-17 free throws.
Kynidi played better, but still forced it a few times on drives to the bucket resulting in 5 turnovers, although she did have a some good finishes at the rim.
Yiesha Williams saw her first game action (due to injury) and it showed --- 11 minutes of play, fouled out with 5 turnovers. She is a much better player, but first game jitters got the best of her.
Julia Palomo doesn't stuff the stat sheet, but she hustles on defense and had 3 steals. I look for her game to get better as the season goes on and hopefully can knock down some 3s for us.
Next game, Sunday @ Michigan St
