I believe this is a good get for the team. Now we can focus on the coming season. We need a good schedule now.

Now our coaches can mellow out a little knowing we have a full roster.

Gui Tesch is going to be a valuable member of the Aces team and will have 4 years to develop his skills. What’s more important is that the full team will be available this summer to participate in the approved workouts and get time to get comfortable with campus life for the new members.
Additionally the team will be playing pickup games during the summer to get a head start on next season and become familiar with each other’s playing style. That was totally missing last year and it showed. Hopefully this team will bond together and have fun playing basketball in Evansville.

I like the signing. And I think it's great that we're bringing in some international players.

So he will“…represent Brazil once again in June when he will take part in the FIBA U19 World Cup. Running from June 24 through July 2, the tournament will be held in Debrecen, Hungary.” Will be interesting to see if he will be able to participate in the summer workouts before he leaves. Sounds like he be pretty busy this summer and quite the experience playing in international competitions like Yacine did last year.

I know this much. This kid is long and he can drain it from deep. The more I watch him this kid could be a real sleeper. He’s not a beanpole either.

Any updates on how Gui's game is developing? I know he is redshirting but just curious on any insight into his strengths and weaknesses. From what I saw and remember from the international games is that he seemed to be more of a perimeter player. Hoping he can contribute in a possible way next year. How has he looked in practice (if anyone has attended recently)?
