Looks to be a transfer from Bradley. In two years played 46 games, starting 40 with a career .259 batting average. Appears to be an infielder.

McGinnis had 33 starts this year, according to their website -- .750 OPS, not shabby. His one homer came off the Aces. Brings a lot of experience to UE. This is a nice transfer.

Drew Fieger had a rough start in his only outing with the Cincinnati Steam. 3 innings, 5 hits, 4 ER, 3 walks. I don't put too much emphasis on summer leagues, as guys can totally be taken out of daily routines that can effect their performance.
With McGinnis, nice to see the in-conference transfers coming our way.

Hoping results aren't what matters to them. Baseball is a process. I think there's a lot of roster turnover with the summer teams. It's not like they have a dorm.

I did post a separate thread on Shallenberger, who is now back with Wausau in the Northwoods League. Only one game in. So don't go looking for him on the older link, which suggested he was playing some first base for that team.
He is playing against several Aces on the Mankato roster -- Fougerousse, Rumsey, Hord and Hansmann. It's hard to keep track of players and probably an exercise better diverted to pulling weeds or washing the car. All the same, it's nice these guys are trying to upgrade their game.
