UE up 23-21 in the second quarter. ISU is 4-23 on the year and the Aces are 3-23. If we can win this one and the men can beat Illinois State, both teams can avoid winless seasons.

We were down 1 at end of the third quarter but it got away from us and we had to foul. 70-58 ISU.

Disappointing. I think the writing is on the wall in regards to Ruffing. What is this, his 4th season?

Watching this game reminded me of the men’s games. Some good players and they were right there but couldn’t get over the hump. Also some bad turnovers and lapses on defense. I feel for Ruffing and I think playing at Meeks is a big liability for recruiting. But yes, we probably need a coaching change.

I don't follow real closely but it seems like they're generally within striking distance for three quarters then get smoked in the fourth. Looks like they've been going with a 7-8 player rotation. Overused?
I do agree the program needs a change of leadership.

I think Evansville should go after Kathie Layden at Northwestern High School. She used to play at Evansville and so did her husband. She led the team to 2 state championships and a runner up this year as they finished 29-1. She’s a fantastic coach.

So, it looks like the Women's team has two chances at home to avoid the disastrous 0-36 combined Men's and Women's record. Bradley Thurs and ISU Saturday

The ladies keep doing the same thing game, after game, after game, after game, and expect different results. That's the definition of something isn't it? I do not blame the players. The buck stops at the top.
