well that was a nice win.
takes 15 minutes to play 38 seconds. Refs need to do better than that.

Anna was back as well and Abby scored 26 points. This 68-65 win looks like a good win for them as they snap a four game losing streak.

(e.g. tweets) -- with that being said, I assume you are posting the Myia is out due to Covid. That is what I was told at the game tonight.
Great win for us! We battled back, stopped turning the ball over (1st qtr was terrible), and hit some key shots near the end.

65, some of my older Apple devices do that as well but they come through on my Windows devices and newer Apple devices. Anthony’s tweet said Myia was out for a “non-COVID illness”. But coach Robin in the post game said she was out due to COVID. So guessing that Anthony was mistaken and that your source (and Robin) are correct.

I might suggest that rather than posting every Twitter comment that we just say, if you want to know what Twitter is saying, get an account and look up the U of Evansville comments. It would help keep this forum from loading so slowly. At times, people who reply to a comment keep allowing the same Twitter link to load and before long, several versions of it appear. I am OK knowing what Twitter is saying but to read it 3 times is a bit much.
But that seems to be a reality that "more information" in the form of a photo is a good thing. Yeah, I am being a G.O.M. about it. In this one, I have three completely identical photos of the center line at Meeks with a crowd in the background. What exactly did I learn from that? Just tell me what Kristensen said. I can figure it out after that.
Which I am sure will mean, OMG!

…posting … Twitter comment(s) …It would help keep this forum from loading so slowly… GoPurple, A few thoughts below: 1. I agree that when one or more people respond to a Twitter post that it creates a long “tail”. I would recommend using discretion if responding to a post like this if it is necessary. 2. I have not heard of others having issues with slow load times. 3. Does the Twitter post add value? 4. A “picture” really can make a post more meaningful. It covers all of basics of a post: the content/message, the source, etc and can be done quickly…without this you get into issues of transposing content (which takes longer, etc) and people questioning the source…There certainly is a place for just posting the content/message. It really comes down to user discretion (and opinion). We want this board to be the best for all users and where people can get most of their information in one location- otherwise there is a good chance the the bulk of the users don’t know of all this staff and team is doing. Of course, it is a balancing act. Always welcome others feedback either through posting publicly or by private messaging me. Thanks to all for making this a great user forum supporting annd following our Purple Aces in the best possible way. Go Aces!!!

Always enjoy and find the info AustinAce gives us to be useful. Probably my mozilla browser that causes the issue. Good points GoPurple made too. Maybe the answer is to delete the twitter link when responding to the original post that contains the tweet.

well that was a nice win. takes 15 minutes to play 38 seconds. Refs need to do better than that. There was one ref being a little excessive on the foul calling in the last minute. The ref under the basket and closer to the play did not make the calls, while he called them with a partially blocked view of the play. ---- I would not want to be a ref in a game like this...lot's of drives to the basket and contact. There could of been a foul called on many possessions.

Now I see it using my firefox browser on a desktop. Re. the Twitter posts, we have been through this too many times. I appreciate them, not everybody is on twitter, and it is not all that difficult to scroll on past.
Good win last night, we would have won in regulation if not for those banked-in three pointers.

Abby and Aniah had big games in the scoring column but there's no doubt that Anna was the leader on the floor. She makes a huge difference to the team.

For the record I don’t have a Twitter account (at least that I use). I think I created one over a decade ago that I never used. So I don’t believe that you have to have a Twitter account to see “public” tweets that are being posted. So all should be able to see.
I agree that it is likely the browser that is limiting a few from seeing the tweets. If important enough (for the individual user) to see I would suggest trying a different browser (which is also why it tends to work on a new device).
