A second commitment of the day this one a 6-10 F Yacine Toumi has 3 years left originally signed with Little Rock then played last year at Indian Hills CC in Iowa. Long athletic can run the floor well.

A 6'10" guy who plays like a point guard. Rags has recruited more talent today than Lick did in 2 years although I'm sure he had his eye on them before he got here. Looks like we have a Coach RSW on the men's side.

It’s easy to see where Coach Rags is going with the Aces. He is putting a team together that can get up and down the floor and seems to compliment each other’s style of play. No more will we see players with a 6” vertical jump, can’t rebound a lick and can easily go 0-10 from the field. Playing hard can only go so far. I may eat my words as Coach Rags has had his hand in only 3 recruits with one to go so far but I expect to see a big change when the current players cycle through. Don’t get me wrong, I like the players we have and each has his own strengths but I see a change a coming.
I also see the current players being more thrilled to be an Ace. They will be playing positions that are matched to their skills with more opportunities to succeed. We should see a better team with more movement and less being observers. I think we are going to be seeing a more exciting style of play next year. Hopefully more wins will put more butts in the seats at the Ford.

I get the feeling this new Aces offense, style, and pace of play will be a tad different than what we've been watching the last few years! LOL
Yacine also handles the ball and moves really well for a big guy! As Coach Ragland stated, I can see how the Aces will be putting a lot of defensive pressure all over the court, finally going after rebounds, and aggressively attacking the basket. Looks like the old "pass the ball around the perimeter and working the shot clock" routine will be over ... thank goodness!

Two hallelujahs on stop chasing the clock. This only proves what a terrible job you have done recruiting or your lack of ability to coach.

This leaves two scholarships left to fill (including Bobe getting one). Have to believe we will be looking for an experienced PG, then probably pocket the last one as there are currently no seniors for this upcoming season. Trying to balance out the classes is not going to be fun at this point.

Doesn't look like he'll provide much offense but hopefully the length and athleticism will allow him to be a force on the defensive end.

Looks like we have a Coach RSW on the men's side. On his instagram his bio calls himself as “6’10 Guard”. I find that pretty interesting and indicative of the way he wants to play. Hopefully Rags can bring out the best in him

Trying to balance out the classes is not going to be fun at this point. We should have two scholarships open next year per Chads scholarship chart. Unless Rags decides he wants to allow Antoine & Gage to exercise their 5th year here at UE. We’ll see how they play next season, but I’m thinking he will likely thank them for their dedication to UE and move on to get his own freshman/portal players.

Antoine showed a nice shooting stroke. Depending on this year, he might be a keeper.

I am high on Antoine. He scored something like 22 points and was Valley newcomer of the week, then hardly got to play the next few games.
Yacine does not have overwhelming statistics, but Indian Hills is a juco power. Sounds like he has a lot of upside - he’s a good pickup.

He is a serious upgrade from the bigs we have been accustomed to seeing. He can actually run the court and handle the ball the same time. I think we are going to like him a lot.

He can run the court and handle the ball at the same time. Reminds me of another European player who did the same. The big E.
