I think it's pretty typical. It's like they are another outside group that's renting the facilities (at a nominal fee/getting a great deal, probably) and having to carry the proper insurance/liability protections. A coach's camp/clinic business is a way to earn extra income and build their brand and also recruit. No matter where they go, they always have their camp/clinic credentials and brand. Some places might decide differently, but it's probably best for them (UE) to not be in the sports camp business. Let the coaches run their own deals.

Can you imagine the potential liability for UE if they had been affiliated with a Walter McCarty Basketball Camp, or in his case, The Walter McCarty Cheer Camp?
