George Mason stats and BioLooks like he would have three years of elgibility. At 6'6" and 215 he looks to have a strong frame with more of a physical game down low. Only played about 8 minutes a game at George Mason in 20 games and no starts. If he played closer to 32 minutes a game he would project to have stats closer to 10 points and eight rebounds. Supposedly plays with a lot of energy and intensity on defense. He takes limited three pointers but makes about one out of three; but only took one every two or three games. Looks like he had either an offer or interest from Loyola a couple of years ago; but mainly low D1 and even D2 offers out of high school. George Mason gets late pickup from 2020 wing Otis Frazier III

There must be something to this young man that I am missing. He averaged 2.5 points a game and 8 minutes on a team that was very average in an average league. I would think we would be chasing a higher caliber player who was a higher recruit after high school. Why not offer players from the power five conferences. As I said before, we need to have coaches in place that are capable at recruiting at a higher level.

The "something" that you might be missing is that whatever possible recruit which might come to Evansville is knowing Lickliter is entering his last season as HC. They have no idea of who will follow him. In addition, this was a bad team that also had it's two best players enter the portal as well. The Aces seem destined for another dismal season. The only thing this program can offer is playing time....for an offense that led NCAA Division 1 in fewest shots per game. No top of the line player would touch Evansville right now. To put it plainly, until our head coaching position is resolved, we are an ugly team.
