Tough game so far for the Ladies Aces - down 45-24 at the break. Looking at the halftime stats, the areas that our Lady Aces need to improve in seem to be: - 3 pt shooting (defense and offense): We have allowed UNI to shot 70% from 3 for 7 3-pointers while we have made none. That accounts for the 21 point halftime deficit right there.
- Turnovers: We have 12 turnovers to their six.
We obviously need to shoot better than 37.5% from the field as well as they are shooting 56.3% from the field. But we are outrebounding them 17-12 and have only 5 fouls to their 9 fouls. Griffin leads the Aces with 10 points. Feit only has 3 points and 5 rebounds. Clark has five points and Davis, Dupont and Morgan have two points each.

The Aces lose their regular season finale 83-56 at home to a 19-9 (12-5) UNI team rated as the third best team in the valley standings. They next play Thursday in the MVC tournament. IF the women's tournament bracket is set up like the men's, then it looks like we will play #8 Indiana State since we are the #9 seed; with #10 Bradley playing #7 Valpo in the other Thursday matchup. We beat Indiana State by 2 at home and lost to them by 18 on the road. So, we should have a shot in that game, but I would expect us to be an underdog.

They have been a fun group to watch. Encouraged by RSW enthusiasm, recruiting, positivity. Definitely moving in the right direction. And not the number 10 seed for the first time in I believe 5 years. The women are making strides.
