I posted in another thread. Adam Wing, could be our version of Brad Stevens. Roughly same age, when Stevens went to Butler as an unpaid assistant. Toiled under Motta & was mentored under TL. Parallels?....perhaps I like Adam. He, like Reed Jackson, was the kind of gritty guy who would do whatever it took to help the team. He's also seems to have a pretty good basketball mind. Remind me where he is today? On the other hand, it would make more sense to see a reunion with Graves, or maybe bring Ragland in. I really like the long term future that both TC and LB present, but IMHO, I believe that both will need an additional step in coaching experience before they can be viable as "coach in waiting."

Graves, Ragland, TC, you can make a case for as a "coach in waiting". I am not sure of the case to be made, if any, for Adam Wing.

From the 2 homes games i've attended since TL took over the team and what i have seen on TV, TC and Seltzer have no game day responsibilities other than occupying a spot on the bench. Both Bauman and McGlone handle the plays run and defensive assignments from the bench and are also active in the huddles.

I agree it appears that TC has not been very engaged on the bench since the suspension. Selzer appears to be totally disengaged since losing the interim tag. I expect his contract will not be renewed.

During game situations he sits as if there is no game going on. During any break in the action he stands outside the team huddle showing no interest. He doesn’t appear to be a good bench coach and it showed during his interim period so I for one will be glad to see him go. Coach Lick deserves a better staff.

I also noticed that Coach Lickliter was spending much of his time during his first game asking questions and getting most of his feedback from Bauman.

I've noticed the same thing - and it makes sense based on things I've heard from multiple people. They are very high on Bauman - and I could very well see him being the future coach. Bauman is very engaged in the game and is constantly giving directions and speaking to the players.

IMHO, ya'll have it right. Bennie is gone, but despite his perceived weakness as a head coach, I feel for him. He

Senior fingers......
Bennie stepped up at a very difficult time, and now he really has no role. Don't think the players ever really saw him as their leader in any way. LB is a very bright guy...a strategist and very good scout. He's from the Pitino tree, and even though I'm not a Rickie fan, he really knew the ins and outs of bench coaching.
If LB is not here next season, he'll be an asst. at another decent program. He has folks looking out for him, but I personally hope he's back.
Don't know how next season's staff will sort out, but I think TL will surround himself with a good group of dedicated and like-thinking assistants. I think there'll be a common message, strategy and purpose.
