Insane to offer a kid this early, what if he takes your offer up then turns out to be a flop.I remember his brother getting a lot of looks early on from some good schools. And now look at him, sitting on the end of a very bad teams bench

No risk in making an offer. It’s all a dance anyway. If the kid doesn’t turn out as expected, the school changes course and descends th offer. Bradley, SIU, Mo. St., and Drake ALWAYS make more offers that openings.

I suspect this kid has two boxes -- one for the letters he gets from potential college recruiters and one for the stuff he's saving that has nothing to do with basketball but is likely a lot more important.

Athletic and well-schooled. Nice jumper, that will only get better. Suspect that everybody will be after Trent. Duke, UK, UCLA, Gonzaga, etc. Purdue may have a jump on others, but they will also have stiff competition from all the big programs.

We're not getting this kid. Too bad it's not the 80s or 90s, with us packing 10,000 each game in Robert's Stadium. We may have had a chance with this kid if it was still that time frame.
I think we still need to look at this kid from Brasil, Indiana (Northview High)
Drew Cook, Northview: The junior guard had a big week with 23 points, three assists and three steals in a 73-46 win over Owen Valley, 32 points (on 6-for-12 shooting from the 3-point line), three rebounds and two steals in a 74-63 win over Indian Creek and 18 points, three rebounds, two assists and two steals in a 45-40 loss to Terre Haute North.
I think he could be a great fit here.

Meanwhile, there is no news, not even an inkling that we are seriously pursuing, let alone OFFERING any other prospects. The silence on the recruiting front is deafening.

I know I am drinking the purple Kool-Aid after another tough loss. But if Marcus Wilson joins the UE coaching staff in a few weeks (and he is currently working with 2024 5-star 7 footer John Bol) - what if he follows Marcus to UE. Stranger things have happened and then 2025 Trent Sisley bonds with the UE players in summer pickup games and comes to UE (under a new fired up coaching staff).
I know, I need to wakeup - but I will keep dreaming.
In the meantime, let's turn this program around with a new coaching staff, so guys like this might consider us.
Go Aces!!!

He now has an offer from Iowa, and I believe Purdue and IU among others, and he is in the 2025 class. With the new staff and recruits like John Bol I hope we are keeping in contact with him. Trent's Twitter account

Note: This should probably be moved to the correct year (2025).

Isn't there zero chance he comes here? I don't think anyone from the current staff has talked to him. Please correct me if I'm wrong.
